* Other crosslinkers from the solventless range of products may also be recommended
* European REACH regulations will gradually restrict the use of such catalyst types in polycondensation cure systems.
Alternative curing systems will gradually replace the tin catalysed systems of today in Europe.

Whilst frequently characterised by Low Speed Release values (LSR or FTM3),
elevated values for High Speed Release (HSR or FTM4) are commonly seen
with solvent based systems. Related to the high molecular weight gums
used in these systems, higher HSR release values can be an advantage
for many applications (e.g. certain high speed label dispensers) but where
a flatter release profile is needed, special systems have been developed.
For the Asian market, solvent based systems are still of great importance
for many standard & speciality applications, hence the greatly expanded
range manufactured in that region today.
