STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

System security has been my preferred domain since I joined Bachelors from Chaitanya
bharathi institute of technology. The transformation of computers to iPod, and telephones to
small palm sized mobile phones, without wires, inspired me to gain an insight into the factors
responsible for wireless communication. The extraordinary developments in this field, both in
Wide and Local Area Networks, especially in the Network Management and Security Systems
further stimulated my interest and have encouraged me to opt for post-graduation in information,
Computer and Network System Security. After completing my high school, I enrolled myself for
the under graduate program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The well organized
syllabus has given me a comprehensive exposure to the core areas of Digital Communication and
Wireless Systems. I have developed a keen interest in these subjects mainly due to their highly
mathematical approach.

The impulse and the challenge in problem solving and acquiring knowledge about new
scientific concepts formed the most vital part of my schooling in Vignan Vidyalayam High
School. My schooling revealed my keen interest for Sciences and Mathematics, and my
unvarying academic performances in securing 92.5% in my 10th standard. Having finished my
secondary with a good performance in the school, I set out in search of my further course of
study with the guidance of my parents. I decided to join the field of M.P.C. (Mathematics,
Physics & Chemistry) for my higher secondary and secured 97.1% in my 12th standard.

As a part of the curriculum I have done one minor project on Air level Detector and
one major project on Power Quality Analysis. In addition to my course work, I also have
practical experience that will aid in the development of my future studies and career, with my
own initiative and zeal to explore the practical aspects of Computers. I was involved in project
on "Android Based Digital Heart Beat Rate and Monitoring System" which was published in
a major international journal. This helped me to gaining practical knowledge about the present
techniques used in the field of Computers.

I have secured a certification for my internship in Light and Medium merchant mill
(LMMM Department) at Vizag Steel Plant. I have also visited various industries Srisailam
Hydro Power Plant and CPRI (Central Power Research Institute) - Hyderabad as part of
my industrial tours. These visits also put me in a privileged position to interact with professional
engineers and seek clarification to lingering doubts. Apart from academics I was actively
involved in co-curricular activities. My ability to face challenges was clearly visible by the way I
organized an event during the 2-day national level Technical Fest SUDHEE-2015 and made it
a huge success. I also did my best as a volunteer during ELECTRET-2014. I regularly keep
organizing group discussions and debates.
 After consulting with my peers and seniors, Im convinced that Canada is a better option
to pursue graduation, as it has developed a first-rate education system with higher standards and
global recognition. Canadian culture is more diverse and vibrant. Being a country of immigrants
from all over the world, different perspectives are respected and learning together is encouraged.

As I know that NYIT, Vancouver College is one of largest, most diversified and highly
respected colleges in Canada. The facilities offered by the College will help me gain experience
be it social, recreational or my personal development. The program brings together participants
from all over the world, so I would be in contact with diverse cultures. It would be very
rewarding to share and exchange thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are from
different nationalities, cultural orientations and schools of thought on one platform. The graduate
program from NYIT College will help me in my personal growth as well as I will be able to
master skills such as formulate and implement a migration plan that allows for the safe
upgrading of networks, manage network operations including policies, standards and procedures,
and acquire more knowledge and hands-on skills. Taking up post-graduate program and that too
on International level is a lucrative offer for me. I will get a wonderful chance to lay a strong
foundation for my career with focus on diversity and multicultural concerns.

In conclusion, I do hope that I will be given the privilege to pursue my graduate studies at
your renowned university and avail the excellent infra-structural facilities and research
opportunities it has to offer. If provided with such an opportunity, I would acquit myself
creditably in your stimulating academic environment and thereby contribute my own
mite to the academic milieu at your department. I hence request to consider my candidature
