Course Objectives

To study about nonlinear systems and state variable analysis


To provide adequate knowledge in the phase plane analysis.
To give a basic knowledge in describing function analysis.
To analyze the stability of the systems using different techniques
To study about various compensation techniques, adaptive and optimal control systems.

Course Outcomes

After successful completion of this course, the students should be able to:

Develop state space model


Design state feedback controller and state observer.
Apply advanced control theory to practical engineering problems.
