Chicken & Noodle Dinner Offered

March 25 at Covington Christian Church
Covington Christian Church will host their annual Chicken &
Noodle Dinner on Saturday, March 25. Serving time is 4:30-7 p.m.
The dinner will feature homemade noodles and chicken, real
mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, homemade rolls, and
assorted desserts. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under the
age of 12. Carry-outs will be available.
Mark your calendars and plan to enjoy a delicious, homemade
dinner and fellowship.
Proceeds from this event to help offset costs of youth activities

BPL is one of 16 libraries and book stores in the Dayton area that
will be celebrating the award-winning book: The Wright Brothers by
David McCullough. A book discussion will be held Tuesdays, March
28 and April 4, at 10:30 a.m. Sign-ups are encouraged since you will
probably need the book to participate. For more information, contact

Also, on Saturday, April 8, students ages 10 thru 18 will be cre-
ating their very own Wright Flyer with Legos and a variety of other
materials all provided for you. The time will be 10 a.m. 1 p.m.
These creations will be displayed throughout the month of April.
The third activity is a road trip by car to the Dayton area on
Wednesday, April 12. Participants will visit Hawthorne Hill,
Huffman Prairie Flying Field and Interpretive Center, and the Dayton
Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. Contact the library for
cost, which will include any admissions and lunch. Sign-up and pay-

Wildlife Rehab Open House
Slated March 26 at BNC
Brukner Nature Center operates the largest licensed wildlife reha-
bilitation unit in the Miami Valley. Last year, BNCs Wildlife Reha-
bilitation Unit admitted 1,464 orphaned, injured, and sick native Ohio
wildlife into their care for advanced treatment. Thousands of staff and
volunteer hours went into the care of over 75 different species of an-
imals from 23 different counties in Ohio.
