Geomorphology,in its widest sense, is thst branch of the geosciences which concerns

it self with the development of the surface feature of the Earth. In a more restrictive sense,
geomorphology is the science of those surface features whose shape in determined by the
action of exogenetic processes,i.e. of processes which originate outside the solid Earth.It is

Geomorfologi, dalam arti luas, adalah cabang dari geosains yang didalamnya
menyangkut perkembangan bentuk lahan permukaan bumi. Dalam arti yang lebih sempit,
geomorfologi adalah ilmu tentang bentuk lahan permukaan yang pembentukannya di

Geomorfologi adalah ilmu tentang asal-usul dan evolusi fitur topografi yang
disebabkan oleh proses fisika dan kimia yang beroperasi di atau dekat permukaan bumi.The
geomorfologi didasarkan pada prinsip bahwa semua bentuk lahan dapat berhubungan dengan
proses geologi tertentu, atau kumpulan proses, dan bahwa bentang alam sehingga

Geomorphology is therefore a discourse on Earth forms. It is the study of Earths

physical landsurface features, its landforms rivers, hills, plains, beaches, sand dunes, and
myriad others.
