Egyptian & Chinese Civilization

Architecture , Social classes ,and Science & Technology

Civilization is human society with develop social organizations , or the culture

and the ways of life at that period. There are were a lot of different things that led to be

come a civilization such as location , weather , technology ,and social classes. In early

ancient civilization, there were many civilization that had ever exist such as Egyptian

civilization ,Chinese civilization ,and Indus civilization. By the way, Egyptian and

Chinese civilization is the civilization that develop many things that we use in today or

ancient sites. For example, Egyptians created the writing system ,which is hieroglyphs,

a mixture of pictures and glyphs or symbols. Moreover, Chinese invented chopsticks

(equipment for eating). Therefore, there was different things that affected humanss life

styles between Egyptian and Chinese civilization ,which are architectures ,social

classes ,and sciences & technology .

 The first different thing between Egyptian civilization and Chinese civilization

is architecture. In an ancient Egyptians are very famous for the buildings of the

Pyramids. The pyramids were built as the tomb of the Pharaoh (Egyptians king).

Because they belief the Pharaoh as god. The most famous pyramid is the Great

pyramid at Giza ,which is the largest of the three Giza pyramids. It was built in2528

B.C. for the king Khufu. Moreover, it is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient

World. However, there also have Seven Wonders of the world but just different ages. It

is the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China was built approximately 2000 years

ago by Qin Shi Huang (The first ruler of Qin dynasty). The purpose to build the Great

wall of China is to protect China from invasion of nomadic tribes. Furthermore, the

Great wall of China is about 5000 kms long in Qin dynasty and it was built later in

Ming dynasty.

The second different thing between Egyptian civilization and Chinese

civilization is Social Classes. In an ancient of Egypt, they use the hierarchy that is a

ranking system ordered according to the status or authority. The social structure of an

 ancient Egypt was classified into a social pyramid. In the pyramid, there was 7 classes

of Egyptian ,which are The Pharaoh , Viziers , Priests & Nobles , Soldiers &

Scribes ,Craftsmen & Merchants , Farmers & Unskilled workers , Slaves. However, at

the top of the pyramid is the Pharaoh who was like god-king for Egyptians. The second

class is Viziers that is like the Pharaohs right hand or high government. The third one is

Priests and nobles who serve as lesser government officials. The next one is Soldiers &

Scribes who write down important events and calculate taxes. The others is Craftsmen

& Merchants , Farmers & Unskilled workers , Slaves in order. On the other hand,

another famous social classes of civilization is Chinese civilization. There was only

three classes such as Landowners , Peasants ,and Merchants.

The final different thing between Egyptian civilization and Chinese

civilization is sciences & technology. In an ancient Egyptian, they originated many

science things such as metal working, including copper and gold ,glass-

blowing ,knowledge of medicine & anatomy , indentation of calendar , standard of

measurement ,making paper from papyrus. In addition, Chinese also invented a lot of

Science such as astronomy, physics, chemistry, meteorology, seismology, have

 originated from China.

To conclude, There are three main different things between Egyptian

civilization and Chinese civilization ,which are architectures ,social classes ,and

sciences & technology . Firstly, the Architectures , they have the most famous place of

Egypt ,which is the Great Pyramid of Giza. However, there are the Great wall of China

that was build in Chinese civilization period. Secondly, In Egypt, they use the hierarchy

to range the classes of people that have seven classes. On the other hand, there were

only three classes of people. Finally, Egyptian, they originated many science things

such as metal working, including copper and gold ,glass-blowing ,knowledge of

medicine & anatomy , indentation of calendar , standard of measurement ,making paper

from papyrus. Chinese also invented a lot of Science such as astronomy, physics,

chemistry, meteorology, seismology. In my opinion, there are a lot of interesting ancient

things both of abstract and concrete things. Thus, we should save them for the next

generation to study.
