SURVEI STATUS GIZI DAN TINGKAT ASUPAN ZAT GIZI MAKRO PADA

BALITA USIA 6-59 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS WUA-WUA

ABSTRAK

Gizi adalah salah satu faktor terpenting yang mempengaruhi individu atau
masyarakat, dan karenanya merupakan issue fundamental dalam kesehatan
masyarakat. Masalah gizi seperti fenomena gunung es dimana kejadian gizi yang
lebih serius seperti gizi buruk dapat menyebabkan kematian. Karenanya status gizi
menjadi indikator ketiga dalam menentukan derajat kesehatan anak. Pemantauan
status gizi dapat digunakan sebagai bentuk antisipasi dalam merencanakan perbaikan
status kesehatan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran status
gizi dan tingkat asupan zat gizi makro pada balita usia 6-59 bulan di Wilayah Kerja
Puskesmas Wua-Wua Kota Kendari tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah
1.681 balita yang terdaftar pada Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Wua-Wua Kota Kendari
dengan sampel sebesar 100 orang balita. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan
proportional stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh
menunjukkan bahwa status gizi balita berdasarkan indeks antropometri kategori
BB/U sebesar 4% balita gizi buruk, sebesar 14% balita gizi kurang, sebesar 80%
balita gizi baik, dan sebesar 2% balita gizi lebih. Status gizi balita kategori TB/U
masing-masing sebesar 11% balita sangat pendek dan pendek, sebesar 76% balita
normal, dan sebesar 2% balita tinggi. Status gizi balita kategori BB/TB sebesar 1%
balita sangat kurus, 4% balita kurus, sebesar 93% balita normal, dan 2% balita
gemuk. Tingkat asupan karbohidrat balita sebesar 76% baik, sebesar 6% sedang,
sebesar 14% kurang, dan sebesar 4% defisit, tingkat asupan lemak sebesar 61% baik,
sebesar 21% sedang, sebesar 14% kurang dan 4% defisit, serta tingkat asupan protein
balita sebesar 79% baik, sebesar 11% sedang, sebesar 6% kurang, dan 4% defisit.

LEVEL ON CHILDREN AGED 6 59 MONTHS IN WORKING AREA OF
PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER OF WUA-WUA KENDARI ON 2015

ABSTRACT

Nutrition is one of the most important factors that influence the individual or the
community, and therefore is a fundamental issue in public health. Nutritional status
became the third indicator in determining the health status of children. Nutritional
problems such as iceberg where the incidence of more serious nutrition as poor
nutrition can lead to death. Monitoring of nutritional status can be used as a form of
anticipation in planning the improvement of child health status. This study aimed to
describe the nutritional status and macronutrient intake level on children aged 6-59
months in working area of Public Health Center of Wua-Wua Kendari 2015. This
study used a descriptive research method with survey approach. The population in
this study were 1.681 toddler registered in Public Health Center of Wua-Wua Kendari
with a sample of 100 children under five years. The sampling method using
proportional stratified random sampling. The results obtained indicate that the
nutritional status of children by category anthropometric indices W/A 4% toddlers
were severely undernutrition, undernutrition toddlers by 14%, at 80% were good
nutrition, and 2% toddlers were over nutrition. Nutritional status of children under
five categories of H/A respectively by 11% under five stunted and severely stunted,
amounting to 76% of normal infants and 2% toddlers were higher. Nutritional status
of children under five categories of W/H by 1% a toddler is severely wasted, wasted
toddlers were 4%, amounting to 93% of normal infants toddlers and 2% were obese.
Toddler carbohydrate intake level of 76% good, 6% were moderate intake, 14% lack,
and 4% deficit, the level of fat intake by 61% good, 21% moderate, 14% lack and 4%
deficit, and the level of intake toddler protein by 79% good, 11% moderate intake,
6% lack, and 4% deficit.
