Summary of Work Experience

Abstract
NARGAN is an engineering, procurement, construction, and project management company
with nearly 4 decades of experience in the design and development of industrial projects
particularly inthe oil, gas and petrochemical Fields.
They are a privately owned company, with over 1200 qualified technical and support
personnel, specialized in the engineering, procurement and construction
management/supervision of advanced oil, gas and petrochemical Projects.
They have earned their reputation over decades of high quality work and safe & on time
delivery of more than 300 projects.

They provide complete consultancy and technical services for the development of industrial
projects particularly in the oil, gas and petrochemical fields.
Our services extend to every aspect of such projects, from the initial concept of feasibility
studies to the provision of Know-How and License, Basic Design, Front-End and Detail
Engineering, followed by procurement, supply services, construction supervision and
management.
During the 12 weeks work placement I have been dealing with the civil drawing of the
following Project:
1. South Pars Gas Field Development Project Phase 15 & 16
2. Butene I & LLDPE/HDPE Plants in Lorestan and Mahabad in Tehran

Establishment of South Pars Gas Field Development Project Phase 15 & 16 is one of NIOC's
objective development projects, and Pars Oil & Gas Company as fully owned affiliate of IOC

intends the project under its defined requirements as set forth in the contract
documents.
The Plant located at Bandar Assaluyeh, in the Iranian sector of Persian Golf.
The Plant consists of the ON-SHORE GAS PROCESSING PLANT ON-SHORE GAS

2. Position(s) occupied in the Organisation

My Task was checking the drawing of each projects map with the drawing standards and
policy. Basically Ill receive the map from the architects and check the overall of map
whether or not they are comply with the standards.
The experience which I gain from this project is that communication is very important
element in order to achieve the desired expectation of each project. Since I was dealing with
so many architects and their drawing I had to have a strong communication skill with them in
order to finish the project on time and provide the effective work to my employer.

policy. Basically Ill receive the map from the architects and check the overall
of map whether or not they are comply with the standards.
The experience which I gain from this project is that communication is very important

Since I was dealing with so many architects and their drawing, I had to have a strong
communication skill with them in order to finish the project on time and provide the effective
work to my employer. I have lots of meeting with architects in order to discuss about the
errors on each map which was not comply with the standards. Communication skills and
teamwork was the most important element for doing this project on time.

5. Overall assessment of this experience

After doing this experience I had come up with practicing so many skills for completing this
experience such as:
1. Communication skills: The important ability in order to receive and send the required
input and outputs in the organisational system. For this task I have used an Intranet for
sending and receiving the information from the architects and my employer in order
to finish each projects on time.
2. Technical skills: I have practiced AutoCAD for drawing each projects map.
3. Time Management skills: I have done a good time management skills in order to
finish each works on time

During the 12 weeks work placement, I have been working under the guidance of
experienced engineers of Nargan consultancy in order to gain their valuable experience. I
have been practicing of reviewing the projects map detail which was drawn by several
Architects. I have used my technical drawing skills and general knowledge in order to check
the map whether or not they comply with Standards. If there was any problem I have used my
own problem solving skills with the advice of my supervisor to maintain a good solution.
Communication skills and the way of using intranet which was a local portal of company has
played an important role for doing this project.

PE2 ENGINEERING ABILITY

During the 12 weeks work placement, I have been working under the guidance of
experienced engineers of Nargan consultancy in order to gain their valuable experience. I
have been practicing of reviewing the projects map details which was drawn by several
Architects. I have used my mathematical and material knowledge in order to check the map
whether or not they comply with Standards. I have checked the concrete mix and the strength
of material which was used in the south pars project.

with the engineering team, ability to manage information and documentation, Understanding
the professional and ethical responsibilities, ability to function effectively, capacity for life
time learning and professional attitudes. Teamwork has played an important role during the
work commitment. It had helped me a lot in order to complete each projects.Doing the these
projects required a good management skills and understanding a high ethical responsibilities.
In order to gain these abilities Ive been touch with my supervisor a lot in order to learn each
concept very well.
