You may be eligible for state grant funds for college. The SC
Commission on Higher Educations SC Need-based Grant program
works with students with current Foster Care Youth/ Independent
Living status in an effort to provide the most amount of FREE money!
Grants of up to $2,500 per year with up to an additional $2,000 per
year are available for qualified Foster Care Youth/Independent
Living students who enroll at one of South Carolinas eligible 2-year
or 4-year public or independent colleges and universities.
