To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Lizette Figueroa.

I met Lizette last school year when she took my Spanish for Spanish Speakers class. Lizette is a
young lady with many great qualities. She is a very responsible student who comes to class every day,
on time, ready to learn and with a positive attitude. She is also very friendly and she always greets
people with a smile. Lizette is a very smart, hardworking, ambitious and responsible student. She is
also very dedicated. She comes to class every day and immediately starts working on her assignments.
She is one of the first ones to finish her work and gets ready to share and participate.

Lizette is an exemplary student. She is a student who puts her heart into every work she does. She
always puts all her effort into everything she does and makes sure that every job she does and delivers
is of the highest quality possible. Lizette is a critical thinker and always has a point of view for all
thing. She is a young lady who possess self confident and she is always proud of everything she does.

Lizette is a student with many dreams and goals. Her short term goal is to earn a bachelor's in
Psychology. She applied to CSU Monterey, CSU Fresno, CSU Stanislaus, CSU Sacramento, UC
Merced, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UC Santa Cruz. It would be a pride for her to attend any of these
universities, specially since she will be the first in her family to attend college. Her long term goal is to
enroll in the Master's program at Dominican University and become a family psychologist. Lizette is
a student with great qualities and skills. She enjoys reading and writing. Lizette is a very focused and
a dedicated student, she knows what she wants and I am sure she will achieve her goals.

Lizette currently maintains a 3.8 GPA. She has remained involved in school organizations all four
years of high school. She has participated in several clubs like Desire to Inspire where she is currently
the secretary. She has also participated for the last two years of high school in the Rotary Club and has
been part of the Avid Club during all four years of high school. In her junior year, she received the
Seal of Biliteracy which was an honor for her.

Lizette is extremely excited about the prospect of attending a University. I am happy to recommend
Lizette to be one of the recipient to receive this scholarship that will allow her to attend college and
achieve her dreams and goals.

Sincerely,
