ePEROLEHAN ACCESS MEDIUM INSTALLATION GUIDE

(Internet Explorer (IE) 11 Recommended)

IMPORTANT !!!
1. Please take note that this guideline is applicable for all Windows Operating System (WindowsXP and above).
2. For Windows 10, the current default browser is Edge. But Internet Explorer 11 is still included in Windows 10. To
run the Internet Explorer, please search for it by clicking on the Start Button, then start typing "Internet".
Internet Explorer should show up as a search result. Once you have found and use it, recommended to pin it to
the Taskbar, or the Start Menu, so it can be found it again quickly. The installation setting/configuration stills
same as below.

1. Install the respective eP Access Medium.

ePXS Download from eP Access Medium Utilities > 3. ePXS

(Note: Only for Supplier New ePXS, the installer also stored inside the ePXS so they can install the
New ePXS using the installer that store inside the New ePXS)

2. Once eP Access Medium installation is completed, user required to do

A. Compatibility View Settings
B. Internet Options/Security

3.After complete with the configuration, please verify the eperolehan logo is Checking or Smartcard is
ready or x. Please proceed login into eP System by go to Log Masuk Sistem ePerolehan.

A. COMPATIBILITY VIEW SETTINGS

1) Go to Tools and click Compatibility View Settings.

2) Make sure website www.eperolehan.com.my & www.eperolehan.gov.my is available and click Add button.
Once Add button already click, ePerolehan website should occur in Website youve added to Compatibility
View.
3) Display intranet sites in Compatibility View should be Check / Tick.
B. INTERNET OPTIONS / SECURITY
1) Next go to Tools, Internet Options and Click Security.

2) Click Trusted Sites and go to Sites.

3) Below link will automatically add in this section if already installed eP Access Medium. Make sure all Website
tab includes;
http://www.eperolehan.com.my
https://www.eperolehan.com.my

4) Tick require server verification box and click close button.

5) Go to Custom Level button and search for ActiveX controls and plug-in. Kindly advise to ENABLE all ActiveX
setting. Once done, click OK and Yes button.

6) Advise user to refresh their browser.
If there any ActiveX or DLL popup, make sure to click Install [ActiveX control] and Allow [e.g this webpage
want to run the following add on].

Or any popup EG.ocx, make sure to click here to Run Add-On [e.g this webpage want to run the
following add on EG.ocx from commerce dot com sdn bhd ].

 Click Run Add-On

Click on the Run button.

7) Once done, click at ePerolehan logo. Make sure it prompt Checking for Device and advise user to enter the
Pin Number.
8) If enter the Pin Number and appear error Invalid certificate. Please contact CDC Smart Card Unit. [CVP/2.0
402 Invalid Certificate.
- eP Access Medium was expired. Please renew it at any eP Counter (ePC) nearby.

9) If enter the Pin Number and appear Error in creating signature or Error initialize the card or Failed to
retrieve the certificate.
- Please check ePXS already install or not, unplug and plug in again, or try to change USB port. If still same error,
uninstall ePXS driver, restart the PC and do the installation again.

10) If enter the Pin Number and appear Invalid certificate. Please contact CDC Smart Card Unit. [CVP/2.0 600

- Please check ePXS already install or not, or supplier not using browser Internet Explorer [e.g : Mozilla, Google
Chrome], use ONLY Internet Explorer [Version 8 / Version 9 / Version 10 / Version 11], after that check Internet
Explorer configuration at compatibility view setting & internet options again.
