In this study, it can be seen that the levels LH, estradiol and progesterone mean levels ( SD) on

day 21 of the first period after receiving curcumin. Mean LH level, estradiol and progesteron on
the curcumin group decreased very significantly compared to the control with P <0.05. Looked
the mean LH level in the curcumin group is higher than the control group. Levels of estradiol
and progesterone in the curcumin group mean was significantly lower than the control.
Differences in the levels of LH, estradiol and progesterone levels on day 21 of the menstrual
period are shown in Table 7.

3. The difference in levels of the LH hormone, estradiol and progesterone in the basal state,

the middle of the menstrual cycle and on day 21 of the first period

3.1. Level of LH Hormone

In this study, basal LH levels in the treatment group showed that there was no significant

difference compared with the control group p> 0.05 (Table 3). In image 16 looked diagram of

basal LH hormone levels nearly as high, which means both groups the mean of basal LH

hormone levels are the same. In the middle of the menstrual cycle LH levels mean there is a very

significant difference between the groups of curcumin and control groups with p <0.05. In image

16 looked mean LH levels in the curcumin group formed shorter diagram while in the control

group the mean LH levels higher diagram form. This means that the curcumin group no LH

surge by the middle of the menstrual cycle. Mean LH levels on day 21 of the first period between

curcumin and control group significant difference with p <0.05

4.2. Levels of the hormone estradiol

In the figure 17. Results of this study, the mean basal levels of estradiol in the treatment groups

there was no significant difference compared with the control group p> 0.05 Seen in the picture

block diagram basal hormone levels mean almost the same, meaning both groups the mean basal

levels of the hormone estradiol are similar ( image 17).

In the middle of the menstrual cycle estradiol levels obtained mean significant differences

between groups of curcumin and control groups with P <0.05 (Table 4). Shown in the diagram

the mean estradiol levels in the curcumin group formed lower diagram while in the control group

the mean estradiol levels higher diagram form. This means that the curcumin group mid

menstrual cycle estradiol levels significantly lower than the control group. On 21 th days of the

first period estradiol levels there are significant differences between the groups of curcumin and

control groups with P <0.05. In the diagram shown the mean estradiol levels in the curcumin

group are much lower than the control group mean estradiol levels. That is the group of curcumin

decreased the mean estradiol levels (142.05 54.42 pg / mL), while the control group mean
estradiol levels (212.59 67.44 pg / mL) were higher. Differences in mean estradiol levels

shown in Figure 16.

4.3. Levels of the progesterone hormone

In the chart below shows that in the middle of the menstrual cycle progesterone levels mean of

curcumin group lower than the control group and there are significant differences between the

two groups with P <0.05. Differences in mean levels of progesterone is shown in Figure 18.

Shown in the diagram in both groups mean progesterom levels increased on day 21 of the first
period. In the group of curcumin in progesterone levels lower middle of the menstrual cycle with
a mean (0.44 0.29 ng / mL) compared with the control group mean (1.05 0.66 ng / mL). On
day 21 of the first period the average levels of progesterone found significant differences
between groups of curcumin and control groups with P <0.05. In the diagram looks mean
progesterone levels of curcumin group is much lower than average levels of progesterone control
group.
