o This is an identity piece (handout) that might help start things off.
Our Indivisible Revolution Sherwood (OIRS) is a local community group comprised of concerned
individuals committed to resisting the agenda of President Trump and his administration. We
strive to be a catalyst for enlightened democratic principles in action for the health and benefit
of our immediate community, our state, and our country.
OIRS seeks to encourage knowledge-sharing, responsive action and passion while creating
community and reigniting a nationwide resurgence of civic engagement. We firmly believe that
Democracy only works when we participate!
Based on the Indivisibles Project Guide written by former Congressional staffers on how to get
Congress to listen. Read the guide at http://www.indivisibleguide.com
We strive to embody the values of courage, tenacity, humanity, partnership, advocacy,
accountability, equality, justice and charity all toward improving our lives and those of our
neighbors far and wide. We welcome everyone who desires to be part of this endeavor in
respectful engagement.
Join us for actions items, events, meetings, and information sharing. Connect face-to-face with
community members, other indivisible groups, and local members of Congress.

o We talked in previous meetings about this and these were things we considered:
Define who we are as a group, as a country
Include element of how we got here/why we are at this point
What we aspire to do bring people together, overcome apathy, create an environment for
people to become civically engaged
Shared experience as citizens Youre the government, Im the government
Embody aspects of prudence, temperance, justice, charity, and love for our neighbor
