Planning for Fashion Spread

Product
The product will be a fashion spread for the magazine Moda
Theme
The theme of my fashion spread will be winter Fashion.
Model
The model I will be using will be Alex Barnes.
Locations
Location 1: Sat on a tree log, tree has fell over. In a forest.
Location 2: On bed with fairy lights wrapped around the model. Model looking
away from camera.
Location 3: Narrow tight alleyway with arms up against each wall.
Location 4: Playing piano in house.
Outfits
Outfit 1: Black jeans, black boots, denim jacket with brown turtleneck.
Outfit 2: Blue ripped jeans, Crop Top, blue and white lacoste jacket and black
boots.
Outfit 3: Black jeans, orange ralph lauren jumper and black boots.
Outfit 4: Pink and blue jumper, black leggings, black and white trainers.
Props
Equipment Required
The equipment I will need is:
DSLR Camera - I need a DSLR Camera to make sure the photoshoot
is a thing, if there is no camera there is no end product.
Costumes - I will need 4 different costumes/outfits. This is too
advertise different types of winter fashion.
Lighting - (If needed) If the location is too dark I may need to take
some un-natural lighting out with me to the photoshoot.
Schedule
I will be doing my Photoshoot on 10th and 11th February 2017.
Photoshoot 1: 10th February 2017 at 10:00am
Editing: 10th February 2017 at 7:00pm
Photoshoot 2: 10th February 2017 at 12:00pm
Editing: 10th February 2017 at 8:30pm
Photoshoot 3: 11th February 2017 at 10:00am
Editing: 11th February 2017 at 7:00pm
Photoshoot 4: 11th February 2017 at 12:00pm
Editing: 11th February 2017 at 8:30pm
Contingency Plans
I will have contingency plans for my fashion spread to ensure that the
photoshoot goes as smoothly as possible. Some of the possible disruptions could
be:
Camera failing to work - If this is to happen, i will take a back up camera just
incase. But to prevent this I will make sure I double check the camera the night
before and just before I set off to the Photoshoot. Also if the battery seems to die
when we are doing the photoshoot, I will make sure that it has been charged but
will take another 2 full charged batteries to the photoshoot with me to ensure
that this is not the case.
Model Bailing - If this does occur then I will change my Model to Jordan Sheridan.
My model has already agreed to take part but just incase something comes up I
have freed my back up models day so he is available if needed.
Location Unavailable - If this does occur then I will promptly change my location
as on my judgment on what location is more suitable and is a good enough
exchange. The location should be okay. Unless it rains all day and is physically
unable for me to complete my photoshoot.
Raining - If it rains I will take the equipment needed for if it does stard to rain.
This could include a cover for the location of where I am taking the photos of all
of the equipment of the photoshoot.

Legal
Copyright:
The copyright law is to prevent anyones work (if thats artistic works, sound
recordings, films, musical, dramatic, typographical arrangement of published
editions) from being used by somebody else without your consent/permission. So
in context to my magazine covers, all of them will be my ideas and will not copy
any other magazines front covers. To prevent breaking the law, I will not use
anybody else's work within my photos.
Trespass:
The Trespass law prevents anybody going onto private land to get some sort of
information (for example, taking photos on the land, getting information from the
owner of the lands private life etc.). In context to my magazine covers this will
prevent me from taking the photos on private land. This will make me have to
take them in public areas. To ensure that I dont break this law I will get
permission to go on private land if I need to.

Intellectual Properties law:

The Intellectual Properties law prevents anybody from stealing anybodys ideas.
The ideas have to have evidence that they are yours before you can charge
anyone for using them. This is because if there is no evidence then there is no
evidence you ever had that idea. This will apply to my magazine cover because I
will have to use my own ideas when it comes to the cover lines, locations,
masthead etc. To ensure that I do not break this law I will use my own ideas in
my photoshoots.

Obscenity Publication Act:

The Obscenity Publication Act is to ensure that nobody uses foul language in a
media product. It also prevents anybody offending anybody. This will apply to my
magazine covers because it will prevent me from using any foul language and
offending anybody in all four of my magazine covers, this will make me only use
formal language. To ensure that I don't break this law I will not use any foul
language within my photos.

Liable and Slander

Slander is used in a radio advert, this is because this is the spoken version.
Liable is what would be in a print media product. This ethical issue will apply to
my fashion spread due to it including images (Print media).

Ethical:
Gender
This ensures that both genders are treated correctly and the same. In order to do
this, they allow both of the genders to model on magazine covers (as 2 out of my
4 magazine covers will be male and the other 2 will be female, keeping the ratio
fair between the two). This prevents discrimination towards any of the genders.
To ensure this issue isn't broken, i will ensure everybody working on my set will
be treated equally.
Race
Similar to Gender, this ensures that every race is treated the same as all of the
others, preventing anything from discriminating any kind of race. To ensure this
issue isn't broken, i will ensure everybody working on my set will be treated
equally.
Disability
This is to prevent anybody who lives with a disability from being discriminated.
This will prevent anybody from making jokes, laughing or giving odd looks to
people with a disability. This creates a healthy working environment.To ensure
this issue isn't broken, i will ensure everybody working on my set will be treated
equally.
Sexuality
This prevents anybody from discriminating anybody due to their sexuality. This
ensures people with different sexualities are treated the same and treated
correctly so they dont feel different to anybody else. Again, this creates a
healthy working environment. To ensure this issue isn't broken, i will ensure
everybody working on my set will be treated equally.
