When DNA replication reaches the ends of a chromosome the replication of the

lagging strand cannot proceed further through the formation of okazaki fragments.
To circumvent this problem prokaryotes have circular chromosomes. However
eukaryotes have developed a rather ingenious way to accomplish the task. They
have an enzyme that is named telomerase which contains a protein domain and an
RNA template.

This enzyme binds to the template strand on an existing telomere DNA repeat and
extends it to 5`-3`direction. And then the lagging strand is completed by DNA
polymerase.

1. How reverse transcriptase work

Now if telomerase is allowed to lengthen a given DNA sequence indefinitely the

result would be an abnormal chromosome. So the activity of the telomerase
enzyme is down-regulated. In somatic cells telomerase slowly lose activity and
telomeres are lost over each replication. This in turn results in defective
chromosomes. Thus the cell ceases to replicate and dies. A phenomenon known as
replicative senescence

Genetic polymorphism is the occurrence in the same population of two or more
alleles at one locus, each with appreciable frequency", where the minimum
frequency is typically taken as 1%.[17]

My husband and I were once sitting drinking coffee in a cafe.

He was young and handsome, and I loved him.
I was wearing an old coat that was ruining my life. I felt almost defective in it I hated that coat.
It wasnt warm. It was disfiguring and it made me feel ugly.
The cafe was cheap, the coffee tasteless.
I was dreaming that one day we would be drinking good coffee in a posh restaurant, and I would
look stylish and beautiful. My husbands eyes were shining when he looked at me. He loved me,
and he didnt know what was on my mind or what I was so down about.
...He died young, and I remained. Alone.
Then, in the years that followed, I sat in hundreds of cafes throughout my life; I drank thousands
of cups of good coffee and owned a number of fashionable coats.
But he wasnt there.
I often remember that moment, and now I understand it was when I had everything yet I didnt
even realize.

Amazing Benefits of the Prostration in Islam and new science on "Earthing"
Check out these amazing benefits from what they call Earthing or Grounding and
how we have all of this already in Islam with Sajdah (Prostration).

THE MEDICAL BENEFITS OF SAJDAH (PROSTRATION)

Sajdah (Prostration) is a unique position or stance in the regular prayers, which
Muslims offer at least five times a day (multiple times in each prayer). However
the basic purpose of obligatory (Fardh) prayers is not to provide an exercise for
people, yet it is being increasingly recognized that it has plenty of medical
advantages for the human body.
Here it is worth mentioning that Prophet Muhammad(SAW) has mentioned in a
hadith by Ibn Majah that prayer is a cure for many diseases. The fact is that a
person who offers his/her prayers regularly is protected from many diseases
which he/she may not even know.

The position of Sajdah in which the forehead touches the earth is exclusively
associated with the Muslim form of prayer. It is the climax of a Muslims prayer
and as mentioned in a Hadith a Muslim is nearest to Allah in this position.
People are exposed daily to many different problems. They may also be exposed
to many electrostatic charges from the atmosphere. These charges are affect the
central nervous systems (CNS) supersaturating it. One has to rid themselves of
these extra charges, otherwise, they will have headaches, neck aches, muscle
spasms, etc. The best way to get rid of these extra electrostatic charges is by
dissipating them and discharging them from the body. In as much as an electrical
appliance is in need of grounding (earthing) by the use of an electric cord, a
human being has to earth him/herself to the ground as well. By putting, his/her
forehead on the ground, because the thinking capacity of the brain is in the
forelobe and not the topmost portion of the brain, one dissipates the extra
electrostatic charges from the brain and the central nervous system to the
ground. Therefore, one will receive piece of mind and soul. By doing prayer five
times a day, with each prayer having several prostrations in it, a person will
undoubtedly feel more peace, happiness, and relaxation. This type of approach
does not cost money and does not have any side effects. It is very natural. This is
the best method for allowing a person to continue to live in peace, harmony,
obedience, and happiness for the rest of his/her life.

Above all, a Muslim who performs prostration on the floor as a sign of obedience
will attain tremendous rewards and blessings from our Creator, God Almighty
Allah.
SAJDA (PROSTRATION) BENEFITS, ACCORDING TO SUNNAH & HADITH

Abu Huraira (ra) reported that the messenger of Allah(God) said:

The nearest a servant comes to his Lord is when he is prostrating himself, so

make supplication (in this state)

[Sahih al-Bukhari]

Aishah Siddiqa (ra) narrates:

Prophet (saw) used to prolong the prostration to such an extent that one could
recite fifty verses (of the Quran) before he would lift his head.

[Sahih al-Bukhari]

In another Hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik (ra) the Prophet (saw) advised
Muslims to perform Ruku (bowing) and Sajdah properly. In another Hadith he
advised to perform Sajdah and Bowing calmly and to get up only when the body
has come to ease.
