Today at placement a student was frustrated with her French
work and was getting really upset because she was not
understanding how to do it. My supervisor had asked me to sit
with her to help her through the work sheet.
This student was making rude comments and getting angry at
her worksheet. I stayed calm and assured her that we would
work on it together and get it figured out.
Objectives:
1) To ensure the student that everything was going to be
okay and to recollect her thoughts and essentially calm
down.
2) To gain the ability to understand what the worksheet is
asking and work through it together.
3) To provide assistance to this student to achieve the goal
of getting the French work done and most importantly
understanding it.
