His real name was john Chapman. He dreamed a land with apple trees.
For 50 years he planted apple trees throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania,
Kentucky, Illinois, and Indiana, where he finally died when he was 70 years
old.
People said he wore a sack on his body and a pot on his head.
