The patented SPM Sur-Drop high 4 1002 M
pressure ball injector affords a simple, 3 1502 M
more cost effective alternative for well
service ball injector applications. Ball
injectors have long been used in the

The Sur-Drop high pressure ball injector 1-1/8" 100
has features that make it far superior and 1-1/4" 100
more reliable than conventional units. Its
unique "positive feed system" eliminates
the need for multiple units to handle
different size balls. One Sur-Drop unit
handles as many as six different ball sizes
by simply changing to one of six internal CONTROL CABLE
cartridges. The unit features a manual
hand crank, remote control or combination
manual/remote control system.

With fewer components than conventional

ball injectors, the Sur-Drop does not BALL INJECTOR
depend on gravity and is not affected by
pressure differentials. The end result is a
ball injector with greater reliability and
cost efficiency. The unit is Zone 1 REEL
approved.

The sealed remote

panel features a
continuous CONTROL PANEL ASSY
memory LCD
counter and
ball drop
toggle switch.
All switches
are protected
and the unit is
designed to
operate the ball
injector on one
cable at distances
up to 150 feet.

The unit is capable of

operating from any 12 volt
system. Operating power
is applied at the remote
control panel.

Remote Actuator Design Features:

Works with a 12 VDC power source.
Reverse Function allows release of most ball jamming situations.
Use of proximity sensor extends product life by eliminating mechanical fatigue of previous
cam and switch design.
Waterproof, rugged motor enclosure.

Remote Actuator Higher Speed and Higher Output Torque Features:

Normal output speed of 25 RPM @ 220 in-lbs of torque.
100 ball/min for ball injectors that deliver 4 balls/rev.
Simple modification allows actuator to drive ball injectors that deliver 8 balls/rev.
Peak torques up to 450 in-lbs for 7/16 shaft cross section (ball injector).
Peak torques up to 250 in-lbs for 3/8 shaft cross section (ball injector).
Allows flexibility to drive various ball injector screw sizes (ball sizes from 5/8 to 1-1/4).
Better response to torque load spike situations.
Maximum motor torque controlled by limiting current.
