Question I (50 points)

Write a 250 words narrative essay starting with the following sentence: When I look back on it now, I realise it
was the most exciting day of my life.

Question II (25 points)

You have received a letter from an English-speaking pen friend. Read the extract below and write a 120-150 word
letter in reply.
I went to see my favourite rock band last Saturday. They were playing live in a local venue. They gave a fantastic
performance and the sound and video systems were very impressive. Have you been to a music concert recently? What
was it like? Did you enjoy it? Did you have to travel far?
