This information pack contains everything youll need for a fun and
safe festival!

Whether youre looking for information about travel to the festival,

where to go for boat parties, accommodation, or what currency to
bring, all the facts are here.

Once youve landed and checked into your hotel, head down to the
Caf del Mar Wristband Exchange point to exchange your ticket for
your festival wristband.

We recommend purchasing all of your drinks tokens to use on the

festival bars on the first day so youre sorted for the weekend! Drinks
tokens are refunable so any unused tokens can be exchanged for
cash up to and including Tuesday 18th April from the Caf del Mar info
point.

Full festival shuttle wristband

50 in advance / 55 at the festival

The festival shuttle will be operating between the

following times and you can use it as many times as
you want:

Friday 14th April 2017: 12:00 - 05:00

Saturday 15th April 2017: 20:00 - 05.00
Sunday 16th April 2017: 20:00 - 05.00

The festival shuttle will operate from Caf del Mar to the
AMP Lost & Found Festival Venue on a continuous loop.
Please allow up to 35 minutes travelling time during
busy periods.

3 FESTIVAL SHUTTLE

When you arrive into Malta Airport you have a number of options to get
to your chosen accommodation.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
(only available for Experience Malta customers)

If youve booked an airport transfer through Experience Malta, there will be a rep at the
airport who will direct you to your coach for the short transfer to St Pauls Bay. You will
need to show a copy of the confirmation email to the rep.

The transfer will drop you off at your hotel so please do listen for the drivers
announcements to ensure you depart the transfer at the correct location.

For your return transfer, pick up information will be provided via a flight home
letter which a member of staff will leave at your hotel around 48 hours before your
departure so please check for your confirmed transfer time. Please be ready for the
transfer in the hotel lobby or at the hotel entrance at the indicated pickup time (please
arrive 20 minutes earlier than the stated pick up time in case of a change in shared pick
up times due to traffic or delays). The transfer will depart from outside your hotel and will
head directly to the airport.

In case of any delay Experience Malta will not be held responsible for missed flights,
trains, buses or any other means of transport.

CAR HIRE
Numerous car hire companies operate from Malta Airport but we would
recommend reserving a vehicle in advance as it will generally be much cheaper!

As an idea, www.rentalcars.com have a few options.

TAXI
There are taxis available from Malta Airport to your chosen accommodation.

EXPERIENCE MALTA OR TRAVEL PARTNERS

If you booked through www.experiencemalta.co.uk or one of our travel
partners (Festicket) check-in is really simple. Head to your allocated hotel reception
when you arrive with the following:

Accommodation confirmation
(Make sure you print out your travel documents and confirmations beforehand to
present to the hotel upon check in)

Passports of all guests staying in your accommodation

Please note staying in some hotels may require credit / debit card details in case of
room service

Check in is available from 15:00 on your check in date.

The reception is generally open 24 hours a day.
Check out is 10:00

If youve booked privately or through another website please ensure you have the
following information:

Contact details for the hotel / apartment

Full address of your accommodation with map printout of location

Printout of your booking confirmation with any receipt for payment

FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS
For Wristband Exchange, head to either location above during their opening
times. Please bring your ticket (e-ticket or physical) and also the card you
purchased the ticket with (if youve lost that / got a new card then bring
your new one along) and photographic ID to claim your festival wristband.

LOST PROPERTY
Lost property will be operating at the times and locations above. After this
date, you can email hello@lostandfoundfestival.com with the subject Lost
Property and we will check to see if we have any items.

6 WRISTBAND EXCHANGE, INFO, LOST PROPERTY, DRINKS TOKENS

You will need to bring your boat party e-ticket to be scanned before
boarding the bus to the boat.

WHEN TO ARRIVE FOR BOAT PARTIES

The buses to the Boat Party will depart from Caf del Mar from 11:00AM.
Please make sure you arrive at Caf del Mar early to avoid delay.
The last bus leaves at 12:00PM sharp - dont be late!

Please note the docking location point can vary. If you dont get on the bus at
Caf del Mar, you will miss the boat!

Caf del Mar address: Triq it-Trunciera, St Pauls Bay SPB 1500, Malta. Please see the
map for the exact location.

Please note that these times are set so that you can board the boat safely in time
for the departure time.

You are not able to bring your own drinks on to the boat. You may also be
searched before boarding. Please note there will be no food available on board
the boat so make sure you eat before you board!

Drinks tokens are available for purchase on the boat in cash which are
redeemable at the bar.

Strictly no jumping into the sea from the boat / pier. You will have your wristband
taken off you and you will not be allowed into the festival for the remaining time of
the festival.

7 BOAT PARTIES
castle rave
Saturday 15th April 2017

You will need to bring your Castle Rave e-ticket with you and must
have a festival wristband to gain entry to the Castle Rave.

WHEN TO ARRIVE FOR THE CASTLE RAVE

The buses to take you to the Castle Rave depart from Caf del Mar from 12:00PM.

Please make sure you arrive at Caf del Mar early to avoid delay.

The last bus leaves at 14:30 SHARP.

The buses will return to Caf del Mar at around 20.00.

The buses will only depart once full.

You will need to bring your Castle Rave e-ticket with you and must have a festival
wristband to gain entry to the Castle Rave.

The Castle Rave takes place at one of the highest points on the island of Malta,
therefore wed advise bringing a jacket for later in the evening in case it gets cool.

You are not able to bring any drinks into the Castle, you will be searched for
alcohol before entering. There will be a food vendor available at the Castle Rave.

8 CASTLE RAVE
POOL parties
Pool parties take place on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
at Caf del Mar.

Set times and full line-ups are available in our programmes which
are available at the merchandise stand. Here are some more details
about what to expect:

Entry to all pool parties is included with your festival wristband.

Theres a chance you might get wet from water from the pools, so
please dress accordingly and look after your valuables.

Be careful with drinking in the sun for long periods and please drink
lots of water.

Food is available at the pool parties at Caf del Mar in the

restaurant inside the Malta National Aquarium.

WEATHER
The average daytime temperature is around 17-20 in Malta with
temperatures dropping off later into the evening (bring a warm coat!).

We would recommend preparing for all weather (including rain) but, were
praying for sun sun sun!

MONEY
You will only need Euros for the festival and this is accepted in all shops,
bars, restaurants and the festival venues. There are cash machines and
money exchange facilities at most hotel receptions and also across the
island.

PAYING AT THE BAR

The AMP Lost & Found Festival bars including Boat Parties, Pool Parties & the
Castle Rave operate with a token system. Extra tokens are available from all
of the festival venues.

For your own convenience we recommend that you purchase an initial

amount of tokens at the Token Kiosk at Caf del Mar before you arrive at the
night time festival venue.

UNUSED TOKENS
Unused tokens must be redeemed before you leave Malta. Tokens
can only be exchanged to customers wearing their festival wristband.

MEDICAL SERVICES IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, PLEASE CALL 112

In order to receive free medical care in case of illness or emergency you will
need to have a valid EHIC card which is available for free from
www.ehic.org.uk

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend taking out travel insurance in advance of your trip. Please note if
you do require medical attention, all expenses must be paid immediately (which
you will claim back from your insurance company) so please keep all receipts.

WELFARE
Weve partnered with The Loop a non-for profit company that provides advice &
support to help people stay safe at clubs and festivals across the UK and Europe.

Our staff can be found in the welfare area next to the medical tent. Here we
provide free, confidential, non-judgemental advice and assistance.

DRUGS WARNING
Dont get involved with drugs. Penalties for drug offences are harsh in Malta.
There is little distinction between classes of drugs in Maltese law.

PASSPORT
Look after your passport. Take a photocopy of your passport with you, leave one
at your hotel & carry one with you.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Wed recommend not bringing your iPad / laptop or anything too valuable with
you, and keep personal belongings locked away at all times just to be safe.
Some of the hotels will have safes in the rooms to store valuables.

SAFETY
Malta is a safe and friendly country but please take care of yourself & your friends
as you would back home.

COMMUNICATING
English is an official language, along with Maltese.

TIME ZONE
Time Malta runs one hour ahead of time in the UK. (Central European Time Zone)

WHERE CAN I GET A COPY OF THE SET TIMES FOR THE FESTIVAL / DAY PARTIES?

These will be available in our programmes available from the merchandise

stand at Caf del Mar or at the AMP Lost & Found festival venue. Official
merchandise such as t-shirts and hoodies will be available at both locations
too.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE FESTIVAL?

There will be a selection of food vendors available at the main festival site,
including vegetarian options. Food is available at the pool parties at Caf
del Mar in the restaurant inside the Malta National Aquarium. There will be
a food vendor available at the castle rave, however there will be no food
available on the boat parties so please make sure you eat before you get
on board!

WHAT IF I FEEL ILL / NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION?

If you are at the festival venue then there is a first aid team located by the
main entrance. Please speak to any member of AMP Lost & Found staff and
they will be able to help you.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND?

We are unable to replace any wristbands so please look after yours!

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOMMODATION, WHO DO I TALK TO?

As most of the accommodation for the festival is in hotels wed recommend

speaking to the hotel reception if you have any issues at all.

IS THERE WIFI AT THE FESTIVAL?

There isnt WiFi at the AMP Lost & Found festival venue, but around St Pauls
Bay there are plenty of WiFi hot spots.

WHERE ARE THE FESTIVAL INFORMATION POINTS?

There is an information point available at Caf del Mar by the Festival

Shuttle Departure Point and also an information point at the AMP Lost &
Found festival venue so if you head there our staff will be able to assist you
with any queries.

INFORMATION POINT OPENING TIMES:

There will be an info point at Caf del Mar in St Pauls Bay and at the night
time festival venue, so if you have any questions at all, please just ask a
member of staff.

IVE LOST MY PHONE / WALLET / PASSPORT, WHAT SHALL I DO?

We will have a lost property & info point available at Caf del Mar & the
AMP Lost & Found festival venue for any questions you may have about the
festival or to check about lost property. If youve lost something valuable
such as a phone then be sure to report it to the local police as this might be
a requirement for your insurance and for all other items, be sure to cancel
your cards or speak to a member of staff on the info points as we have lost
property handed in all the time.
