CURRENT JOB PROFILE:

I have been working with AIR INDIA AIR TRANSPORT

SERVICES LTD ( a subsidiary of AIR INDIA ) since 1st Feb 2012 as an ASSISTANT
OPERATIONS/CREW CONTROLLER in the Dept of INTEGRATED OPERATIONS
CONTROL CENTRE ( IOCC ) at the Delhi International Airport, Terminal 3.

The Dept of IOCC manages the integration and disruptions/ delays

of all the Operations Control of the Airline, by providing efficient passenger re-
accommodation and aircraft/crew recovery at real time environment. The IOCC is the 1st
fully integrated platform for monitoring and controlling airline operations. It puts an end to
fragmented partial solutions and enables all effected departments to act on the same data
and in the same time frame.

The software that we currently use is the SABRE AIRLINES

SYSTEMS which has been custom designed just for AIR INDIA which tracks all the aircrafts
around the world in the real time environment. In case of any disruptions or unforeseen
events occurs due to aircrafts, crews, ground resources or any irregularities due to weather,
ATC restrictions, slot request issues, mechanical restrictions, as an OPERATIONS
CONTROLLER and CREW CONTROLLER, I would be responsible to find an alternative
solution for the scenario and provide efficient turnaround of the Airline Schedules without
any delay. This software provides complete system coverage of an airline's entire route
network for International, Domestic, Cargo, LCC and Charter Flights. It also provides a
good resource of employee productivity, fleet utilization, fuel consumption, payload factor
and mainly customer satisfaction by providing everyday a summary of the On Time
Performance (OTP), Delay Reports and the efficiency of the organization.

As a Crew Controller, we also use a Software AVIATION

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (A.R.M.S.) which stores the Flight Crew Duty
Records and helps us calculate the Flight Duty in case of any flight disruptions. It also assists
in swapping the Flight crew during these Flight Disruptions as well providing alternative
Flight Crew without affecting their further flights.
