Personal Profile

I am currently in my third and final year at Nottingham Trent University studying for a BA (Hons) in
Fashion Design. I previously completed a Higher National Diploma at the London Fashion Retail
Academy in Art and Design (Fashion). I have a wide variety of experiences, that have helped me gain
confidence and skills, which can help me through many different circumstances. I am a confident,
hardworking, organized person and I enjoy engaging with people.
Whilst studying at the Fashion Retail Academy, I took part in the TopMan industry module. This
involved working to create a mini menswear collection and presenting it to the TopMan team,
including Gordon Richardson. After pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone trying to come up with
unique and innovated ideas, my group of three won the TopMan award.

Work Experience

October 2014 The Textiles Forum- London Fashion Fabric Show

I won a place working for this fashion company. Although it was only for two days, I did get a lot of
administration experience and learnt skills in how to communicate with people from the industry and
to understand more about other areas of the fashion world.

December 2013 Daily Mirror- Fashion section

During my placement I helped out with two photo-shoots. This involved me communicating with PR
companies to get sample garments to be used during the shoots. Once the clothing had been
delivered I was then in charge of organizing all the stock for the shoots. I was also given fashion
topics that I to research and create notes for future articles.
