Your Analysis

Your findings and recommendations in the learner Development Profile will

help you answer the questions here.

1. From your home visit and interview, what do you think is the style of
parenting experienced by the learner? Explain your answer.

From my home visit and interview the parenting style was

authoritative parenting. Because the parents gives rules for
disciplining their child and explains why they were doing it. they
only show love and care for their child.

2. Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what
family factors do you think contribute to the development and over-all
adjustment of the learner in school?

I think that the family factor to contribute to the development

and over all adjustment of the learner in school is their emotional-
moral development because there are driving forces why the child
do it and they obeying their parents because they are motivated and
they are believe that if they do this they will received a reward from
their parents.

3. Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the

learner? If yes, what are these effects?

Yes, because learnings begins at home. The effects of it are

well proper guided and well discipline.
Your Reflections

1. Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did

you experience? How did it affect you?

I experienced authoritative parenting style. And it affect my

life because through them I became more motivated in life and
responsible especially when regards in studies they want that our
priority is our study than anything else. If they saw my grade that is
not suitable to their taste, they will stretcth me more to perform
well. No more hang-out, less allowance and no cell phone.

2. As a future teacher, how would you establish good home-school

collaboration? How can you work well with the parents? How can you
help them? How can they help you?

As a future teacher I would establish good home-school

collaboration by knowing my students first, their background. I will
communicate their parents especially I their child is not performing
well, I will know why my students has an unnecessary behavior. I will
encourage their parents to help their child to be more active and
productive.
