Director
Globalisation has made business environment, both domestic and international very
dynamic. New dimensions of conducting business keep on emerging and thus pose new
challenges to be tackled by the business leaders around the world. It is thus imperative for
executives in different fields seeking to enhance their capabilities and competencies efficiently
in such a dynamic environment to understand the ongoing developments in various sectors so
as to gain useful insights required to supplement their existing knowledge pool in the arena of
international business.

Driven by a vision to be an academic centre of excellence in the area of international business and an
internationally well-networked institution committed towards delivering globally competitive business
education, training and research, IIFT offers a bouquet of programmes catering to the requirements of
both aspiring business managers and mid-career professionals. Executive Post Graduate Programmes
of IIFT (EPGDIB, EPGDIM & EPGDCFM) are uniquely designed to prepare executives from the
corporate sector for new levels of leadership within their organizations in areas such as international
business, international marketing and capital & financial management. These programmes also offer
participants opportunities for growth through the networking and interaction provided by their co-

programmes of 18-months duration, and spread over three semesters.

These programmes are rigorous, the courses are contemporary and the curriculum is intensive.
Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB) prepares participants to
understand the interrelationships among the diverse and complex tasks of international business
alongside various management functions in the context of global trading and investment regime.
Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing (EPGDIM) has a special focus on developing
insights into effective marketing decisions and strategies to serve the customers effectively in the
context of linking domestic business with global market opportunities. The pedagogy of the Executive
Post Graduate Diploma in Capital and Financial Markets (EPGDCFM) is designed to equip participants
with the analytical and intellectual capacity to participate in financial markets. This programme
acknowledges that globalization of financial markets, international capital flows, and technological
advancements have warranted the need for competent financial market professionals.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Deemed University, is the national Institute in International Business
Education and Research. Established in 1963, as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry,
Government of India, it has contributed in the skill building for the external trade sector of India. The contributions
of the Institute have earned it the status of Deemed University in the year 2002. Over the years, IIFT has emerged
