It can be concluded that the experiment was a success as the objectives of

the experiment were completed successfully although the experimental result differ
slightly from the theoretical result. The conducted experiment managed to get both
the result for the spring constant, k and the natural frequency, f with ease with the
help of the lab assistant and each procedure were followed thoroughly.
This may happened by several factors and errors during the progress of the
experiment. One of the example of the factors was probably the defect of the
apparatus or tools used in the experiment such as the stiffness of the spring used
may been affected as it have been used for a long period. Hence, all apparatus
must be maintained and inspected properly to avoid any defect to the items that
can affect the result in the experiment. Furthermore, human error is also one of the
contributing sources that may affect the result of the experiment. Parallax error may
occur when trying to obtain the measurement which lead to an incorrect data
obtained. However, the risk of human error can be minimized by repeating the
experiment several times to obtain a consistent result of the experiment.
Misinterpretation of the procedure of the experiment may also lead to an absurd
result or worse an accident during the experiment that may risk an injury. Thus, it is
importance to ask the lab assistant if the information was unclear to avoid these
problems. With this in mind, the success rate of the result obtained from the
experiment can be increased tremendously for future experiment.
