OBJECTIVE
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:-
1. identify by responding orally 3 out of 4 greetings for the correct time to use the
greetings.
2. read and recognize by tracing in 3 out of 4 the blanks the correct words to
complete the greetings.
ACTIVITIES
1. Teacher asks pupils what they can see from the laptop screen.
2. Teacher introduces the topic of Greetings to the pupils.
3. Teacher shows and introduces the flash cards to the pupils from the laptop.
4. Teacher asks some of the pupils to identify the greetings that they can see from
the flash cards orally.
5. Teacher tells pupils that they will play Jumping Frog. First, teacher draws two box
that contain the greetings on the floor
6. Teacher tells them the instructions of the game.
Instructions of the games:
The pupils have to jump on the first box and read clue of the greetings according
to time (morning, afternoon, evening and night) and greet to other groups
correctly. If they cant greet or identify correctly, they cant proceed to the next
box.
7. The activity is repeated with other greetings.
8. Teacher asks the pupils to open Activity Book Part 1 page 13.
9. Teacher and pupils sum up todays lesson.
