Dear Mr Tajani,

Thank you for your letter of 29 March 2017 inviting me to the Plenary Session of 4 April
2017.We have had different correspondences on the matter before. As indicated before 1
am willing to address the European Parliament on Greece. Let me add in this respect that 1
informed the Parliament on the state of play of the economic adjustment programme for
Greece only last week, on 21 March, in my regular exchange of views with the ECON
Commiftee.

Unfortunately, as indicated by my services already last week, 1 am no longer available on

that date.

1 would like to assure you that 1 remain committed to continue the discussion on this issue
with the European Parliament. 1 would therefore be available to participate in a future plenary
debate. 1 hope we can find a suitable moment together. In order to have a good debate, 1
would like to suggest to have the meeting after completion of the second review.
