March Update 2017

Dear Friends,

Our spring semester at Mid-South Christian College began with three new international students
as pictured below. Keyling is from Costa Rica (though originally from Nicaragua), and Luis and
Silvia are from Ecuador. They join our current international students from Mexico and Chile to
form a diverse student body and to highlight the
fact the at MSCC, students can complete their
entire program of study either in English or
Spanish. At most other Bible Colleges, students
must learn English in order to study the
Scriptures, but at MSCC the Spanish-speaking
students can pursue a degree in ministry in their
own language. Please keep praying with us as
more students are applying from Ecuador, Costa
Rica, Cuba, and other places.

Most of my teaching has been in Spanish in the
last few semesters and I am now teaching
Beginning Greek and the History of Israel in Spanish along with a Practicum in Practical
Ministries in English. I also taught Minor Prophets at a local Bible Institute in Spanish and led a
workshop on Missions at the Alabama Christian Convention. I have also been invited to lead a
workshop at the Hispanic National Convention in Knoxville this summer.

Our daughter Andrea will be a missionary intern this summer, beginning in Cairo, Egypt, and
finishing in Barcelona, Spain working with an Egyptian church. Many of you have already
