Theres several reasons why it is hard to get the truth these days:

1) Jesus says if you love me, keep my commandments - John 14:15

2) The only name by which one can be baptized & saved is Jesus - Acts 2:38
3) Many don't speak according to the law & the testimony Isaiah 8:20
4) Rise of False prophets in the name of Jesus - Matthew 24:5
5) Rise of False doctrine, commandments of men - Mark 7:7

Whose keeping the commandments, these days most people either believe only in the 2
commandments of the new testament (Matthew 22:36-40) or 10 commandments in the old
testament (Exodus 20:3-17). Many do not understand that if you do those things through
obedience, then you will do all the other commandments as well because of the love that we have
to become like God. So just as Jesus came in the volume of the book, so are required to do the
same to become joint heirs with him in the Father's Kingdom. We cannot cheat God in obtaining
salvation (we only cheat ourselves in thinking otherwise for Jesus has not yet returned [Rev
22:12]). God judges us all accordingly by the Word for which our works are recorded whether
they be righteous or unrighteous before God. (Revelation 20:11-13)

Romans 8:24
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why
doth he yet hope for? [hope is not yet received]

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
[shall is to express something in the future]
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. [should expresses something that is expected
unless, when applying judgment there is a breach in terms]

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

1 Peter 3:21
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth
of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

1 Corinthians 15:1-2
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also
ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in
memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
Matthew 24:13
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Amos 8:9-12
11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine
of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to
and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

Its getting closer to the time of the coming of our Lord Jesus.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down
at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring
up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of
an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

Luke 21:8
8And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am
Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

God’s redemption plan for man

1 Thessalonians 5:9-23
9
God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10
Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over
you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among
yourselves. 14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the
feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15See that none render evil
for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to
all men.
16 17
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.
18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19 20
Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings.
21 22
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and
soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
