Myanmar and Thailand. First of all, Myanmar is a Buddhism country while there
are many minorities of other religions and tribes, which one of them is Islam.
Some Buddhist in Myanmar extremely have an idea of Muslim discrimination.
This might relates to the situation that happen in the Middle-East Asia that ISIS
organization have been conquering humanity. Therefore, these Buddhists are
getting rid of Muslim in Myanmar accordingly because that have an idea that
Muslim should be banned. The narrator stated that this idea is slightly spreading
into Thailand in many areas. Some of Thai Buddhist become maniac, and they
strongly agree with this strategy. Not every That-Buddhist are aggressively
behaving to Muslim, but this idea is still stuck in some group of them. There are
several reasons that some of Thai Buddhist become active to this predicament.
First, Most people are scared of Muslim according to the situation in Middle-East
Asia. The next reason is that there is a Thai famous monk motivate them to think
against Muslim. Nowadays, some districts in the northern part of Thailand have
already banned Muslim and Mosques creation.
This directly can be related to the cause of protesting in Thailand that one
of the most accurate cause is Monks quote and point of view towards Muslim.
Most of Thai people are Buddhist, so we believe in Buddha and his teaching
which is said by monks in present. But not every monk state their perspective
according to the Buddhas teaching, but they just say their opinions. Mr. Apichat
Promjan, famous monk in Thailand have said For every monk killed, "a mosque
should be burned, starting from the northern part of Thailand southwards", Mr.
Aphichat wrote on Facebook on Oct 29. In my opinion, I strongly disagree
because not just religious mistake has presented, but he does devastates
humanity too. Somehow, we should be cautious because its on social media, so
it can be shared over and over.
Moreover, there is many people who try to protect Thailand peacefully.
Some researchers and scholars have stated their opinions in social media and in
their organization. But there is someone who claim that all events are caused by
Muslim. He spoke of receiving text messages warning that Muslims were buying
up land to build mosques in every Thai province. "That's why Buddhists have
been uneasy and feel the need to protect their religion," said by Mr. Somchai
Surachatri. I think I disagree with this idea, but it can be claimed that it is
accurate. Because the high increasing rate of Muslim, Buddhist have to protect
their country, but I think there is more devastative cause of Thai-Buddhist
protestors.
