and leadership opportunities. I have given tours to prospective
students, provided a warm welcome and insight into nursing school at
new student orientation, and assisted with focus groups and service
projects.
Memorial Regional Medical Center, Mechanicsville, VA: 2007-2010.
Volunteered throughout Memorial Regional Medical Center by offering
my time by delivering x-ray reports to different departments, handing
out daily newspapers to patients, assisted with discharge, distributed
forms to patients within the radiology department, and spend time
talking with patients who need a shoulder to lean on during a tough
time.
