Atty. Maria Concepcion Noche

Vice Dean
School of Law and Governance
University of Asia and the Pacific

Dear Atty. Noche,

I am writing this letter of intent to enroll in JD Thesis Proposal

(JDTHES1) this summer term of this year. I understand that I have a
deficiency to take the course but I am asking for your kind
consideration to allow me to take the proposal stage of the JD Thesis.

It has been known to me that I will most likely take the whole JD
course for five years because of a major subject that I failed to pass;
but despite of that fact, I still want to finish subjects as much as time
will allow me so I can focus on reviewing for the Bar Exams during my
last years in law school. JDTHES1 is very important as I complete the
whole course. As per your advising, it is strategic to start with my JD
Thesis this summer, so when I am already qualified to enroll for thesis
advising and defense, at least I already have a working draft.

I was encouraged by your advice and I believe that having an

approved Thesis topic is very crucial to start the stages of drafting my
thesis proposal. I understand that I might not be able to enroll the
subsequent JD Thesis subjects until I complete all my second year
subjects and these are the clear consequences that I know, and I am
willing to take. But I am asking for your kind consideration to allow me
to enroll at least in JD Thesis Proposal so I can start drafting my thesis
even if it is not all official. Having a working approved title is essential
to jumpstart all the process of drafting.

Thank you very much and I am looking forward to your kind

consideration regarding this matter.

Sincerely,

Hannah R. Barrantes
