To describe ourselves in general we use the verb TO BE 20 minutes Power point
(I am, you are, he is, she is, it is, we are, they are) , I use
vocabulary like this:

Tall, small, overweight, fat, slim, young, old, beautiful


(only for women), pretty (women and babies),
handsome, good looking (only for mens),

Example:

I am tall, fat and young. I am beautiful, very beautiful.


I can say that I am a beautiful woman. My sister is
short, slim and young. She is a young person.

2. The same system used to describe my character. In this


case, I use vocabulary like this:
Shy, quiet, lively, active, easygoing, outgoing, nice,
friendly, funny, happy, annoying, sad,

talkative, aggressive, a pain in the head, a little chatter


box

Example:

I am shy, active and friendly. My mother is talkative,


funny and active. She is an outgoing woman.

3. To describe particular aspects of the body I use the verb


TO HAVE (I have, you have, he has, she has, it has, we
have, they have) , I use vocabulary like this:

nose, a flat nose, a fine nose, big ears, small ears

Example:

I have small eyes but my brother has big eyes. I have


curly hair but my mother has straight hair. I have a
round face but my mother has oval face. My mother
and I are physically different.
We can also use the possessive adjectives (my, your,
his, her, its, our, your, their) to describe.

Example: Her eyes are big and elegant
