Articulation Agreement by Major

Effective during the 16-17 Academic Year

====Psychology/B.A.====
Listed below are the lower division preparation courses for the major. You must
complete all preparation courses prior to transfer. All courses must be taken
for a letter grade. Transfer students must be admitted as Pre-Psychology majors
in order to major in Psychology. Students originally admitted under other majors
will not be permitted to change their major to Pre-Psychology or Psychology or
to double major in Psychology. For more information regarding this major and
UCLA's transfer selection process, visit www.psych.ucla.edu and
www.admission.ucla.edu.

PLEASE NOTE: The community college courses listed below have been approved to
satisfy the preparation requirements for this major at UCLA, but they may not be
exact equivalents of the UCLA courses listed.

The AP Exam scores listed below may be used to meet the major prep:
A score of 4 or higher on the AP Psychology exam is equivalent to Psychology 10
and can be used in place of the psychology course.
A score of 3 or higher on the AP Biology exam can be used in place of the
biology course.
A score of 3 or higher on the AP Physics B or C exam can be used in place of the
physics course.
A score of 3 or higher on the AP Chemistry exam can be used in place of the
chemistry course.
A score of 3 or higher on the AP Statistics or Calculus (AB or BC) exam can be
used in place of the quantitative reasoning course.
