Instructional Delivery and Management

Element 4.3: Provide effective instructional feedback for skill

acquisition, student learning, and motivation.

Artifact: EDTPA Task 2

Date: Fall 2016

Reflection:

What:
Through the EDTPA Task 2 I provided instructional feedback that was
positive towards the students. The student learning was addressed
through the activities that I had prepared and it addressed all three
domains of physical education cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. The
student learning was based on providing the students with feedback,
addressing questions at the beginning of the activities as well as
throughout. The students that had questions were addressed when
needed. The students had the opportunity to work with each other
addressing the affective domain. The students were able to give each
other peer feedback as well as getting the feedback from me which leads
to student learning, motivation to do their best, and instructional
feedback

Now what:
As a teacher it is important to give positive instructional feedback and
this is shown through the commentary that I have as my artifact. This
shows that the students were able to have instructional feedback based
on their skill acquisition, student learning, and motivation. This is
addressed based on the way I was able to teach the students through
physical activity. The students were challenged by a technique of
challenge by choice to do the best that they could and they had feedback
from their peers as well as my instruction. Based on the explanation this
is a perfect artifact for this section.
addressing the element of 4.3.

So what:
This artifact aligned with the element 4.3 based on the feedback that was
given to the students shown as a result of the commentary. The
commentary for task 2 shows that the students received peer-feedback
as well as instructional feedback that made it so the students would
learn, and be motivated to do their best through the activities prepared
for them.
