In order to bridge the intangible gap, our vision is a reunion of our citys
urban traditions, culture, and ecological values with our creative,
technological, and structural development.
Some of the greatest cities in the world are home to vibrant market districts.
The Gadsden Company and Mission District Partners are working to add
Tucson, Arizona to that list. The MSA Annex is an expansion of the
Mercado San Agustin Public Market. The Mercado is home to 15 thriving
small businesses, a commercial kitchen and hosts some of Tucsons largest
and well-attended events.

What Is Special
This area is one of the longest continually inhabited areas in North America;
it literally is Americas oldest neighborhood and Tucsons newest. Ultimately
what will make this place special is the community of people that live and
work here. The Mercado San Agustin has set a high bar for collaborating
with quality local merchants and food operators, and the MSA Annex
promises to continue in that tradition.
