Introduction:

This project entitled as Alumni Portal Management System is developed to fulfilment of

BCA degree. And this software or application is developed to maintain the record of the pass out
students or ex-students of the college.

In this project we maintain the information of each individual student, the alumnae of the
college have to register into the application. Once they get registered, the students can give
feedback, suggestion to improve college facilities, they can also donate funds to college, they can
guide present students for their upcoming courier.

Existing system:

In existing system if college faculty want to contact any pass out student they have
to refer ledger book records, get details and then contact the student. If the alumni want to donate
fund then he have to come to college and give it manually or he can contact college faculty for
the bank details such as account holder name, Account number and IFSC code of bank account
and transfer funds. And all work should be carried out manually etc.

Problems of existing system:

The records have to maintain manually.

Time consuming.
Once the information of the students is lost then we cant recover the information.
If any alumni or ex-student wanted to donate amount then he have to visit college or he
can transfer only but for online transection college bank account is needed then again he
or she have to contact one of any faculty to get the correct details etc.

Proposed system:

The main objective of this proposed system is to automate the existing system, using
this application we can manage alumni personal details work or job details and as well as college
details also. Whenever alumni wanted to give suggestion or any feedback to the principal to
betterment of service then they can give. If they in interested to interact with the students then
they can. They can guide student to settle in future or to get better currier. In any person or
alumni wanted to donate found then they can donate in this application only. If any function or
get together arranged by the college then they can invite their alumni directly from this
application etc.

Advantages of proposed system:

We can keep the records in database which is secured way to maintain the data.
If any data is lost then we can restore the data from the database. And maintains the valid
records of the alumni students and the users.
It does not take much time to process.
Alumnae can give feedback or share their opinion with the college faculty, present
students.
Photo gallery is available to upload the photos of event or functions.
Notifications will be sent to every one etc.

Admin maintains the entire application.

Admin can add new details of each and every program.

Admin can also view Alumni and students details.

Admin deals with the users and make user friendly system.

Alumni:

Alumni can give suggestion to principal regarding college.

Can give other details like company information or any use full details regarding
placement.

Can interact with presently studding students to make their future better.

Can donate found to college.

Give feedback about college and staff for betterment of college facilities etc.

Students:

They can interact with alumni and ask details about job and placements.

Any notes or guidance is necessary then student can ask directly to alumnis.

They can view suggestion given by alumnis etc.
