Transforming City Schools Through Art
Organized by the Ohio Art Education Association with funding from the Ohio Arts Council

Art Educator Workshop at the Dayton Museum of Art

Do you want to learn to connect your teaching to the Community?
Would you like to learn more about how to find and use Community Resources to teach Art?


The Ohio Art Education is pleased to invite you to attend a free teacher workshop entitled Transforming City
Schools Through Art. This arts curriculum related workshop provides hands-on art experiences, curriculum
integration activities and an inspirational interactive session focused on the book, Transforming City Schools
Through Art: Approaches to Meaningful K-12 Learning written by Dr. Karen Hutzel from The Ohio State
University. An exploration of the museum and information about the museum will be included. Lunch will be
provided.

You do not need to be a member of OAEA to attend. All ART teachers are encouraged to attend!!!
