1 - Authority of the Believer In The Earth

I have been so surprised of late at such ignorance in the body of Christ of the authority of the believer. The
authority of the believer must not be taught much in churches today. So many Christians all they know to do is
pray and ask the Lord to do everything. Then they wonder why nothing happens and things get worse and
they think the Lord is holding out on them.

I believe in praying for sure but I believe most of the things Christians are praying for the Lord to do, the Lord
needs Christians to instead use His authority in the earth to get these things done and change things that need
to be changed. After all there is an anti-Christ spirit in operation in the earth and only Gods authority can
defeat the plans and strategies of this spirit and all demonic in this earth at this time whether it is operating in
a government or a persons life.

Today most of the Church look just as defeated as those that live for the devil in most cases and I believe it is a
direct result of ignorance of the authority of the believer. There are so many Christians who are addicted to
drugs, alcohol, porn, food, hoarding, etc. and they dont have a clue how to get free. Demons dog their lives
every day harassing and tormenting them in their minds, the spirits of grief and sorry and hopelessness and
weariness have taken over believers lives, the spirit of addiction to drugs and alcohol and porn and other
addictions have taken control of their lives and then they go to the professionals of this world system who
have little to no clue how to help them because this is a spiritual matter.

We are also seeing more and more severe weather any time of the year around the world. All of this
happening and yet the Church seems to know nothing else but to pray about the weather and then nothing
happens and some are questioning the Lords power in the earth.

There are things we need to pray about but there are also things that God cant do for us because He has given
the Church His delegated authority on this earth to police this earth with His authority and dominion over the
demonic that are killing, stealing and destroying.

Demonic activity in the earth is producing tormenting hearts and minds and spirits and even in the Church and
we are seeing more and more instability of minds and emotional imbalance and torment that results in all
kinds of fear, hopelessness, despair, sorrow and grief, anger and rage, suicides, murder and killings. This
demonic activity has to be stopped and it can only be stopped by the authority of the believer.

Are any of you experiencing fear, grief, sorrow, sadness, hopelessness, weariness, sickness or disease,
addictions, or emotional or physical problems? Then I can guarantee you that there is a demonic attack going
on in your life. Anything that has a hold of us that is fearful, addictive, harassing us or tormenting us is caused
by the influence of the demonic in our minds and bodies. So when you experience these things then you know

there is demonic influence there to kill, steal and destroy you if nothing is done to stop them. If something is
not peaceful then it is demonic.

The authority of the believer is given to every believer to render powerless the spiritual enemies that are
behind these attacks in the mind, body, finances, marriage and family that we see so much today and that
professionals are clueless and unable to help because it is a spiritual matter.

Galatians 5 tells us what the Holy Spirits presence in our lives produces so that we can readily recognize the
presence of the demonic and their influence and their work to steal, kill and destroy.

Gal 5:22-23 But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. NLT

Every believer should be experiencing daily these fruit in their lives and if they arent then they are being
influenced by this world and the demonic who are operating this world system and whose mission is to kill,
steal and destroy.

Anytime you feel pressures of fear, worry, anxiousness, nervousness, uneasiness, sadness, grief, sorrow,
addictions, envy, jealousy, hatred, murderous thoughts, and anything else that is tormenting then you are
being put under pressure by the demonic. As a believer in Christ Jesus you do not have to put up with this
harassment any longer since Christ has given you authority over all demonic that He already defeated for us by
His redemptive work.

I would recommend that you frequently pray the prayers Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:16-23 and Ephesians 3:14-
21. These prayers were Pauls prayers for the believers in Christ in the Church at Ephesus and these still apply
to all believers today because they are Spirit given and Spirit anointed prayers. These prayers prayed enable
believers to receive more and more revelation of their life in Christ and their spiritual position in Christ and of
their spiritual authority over the demonic and the things in this world that God has given believers
responsibility for stopping in the earth. When you pray them I suggest that you place your name in the
appropriate places to make it personal. I am listing these prayers so that you dont waste any time in praying
these prayers.

Eph 1:16-23 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our
Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of
him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his
power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ,
when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all
principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but

also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all
things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. KJV

Eph 3:14-21 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole
family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be
strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and
length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be
filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we
ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. KJV

Authority of the Believer is One of The Spiritual Blessings

Now lets get started on our study of the authority of the believer.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ: KJV

Believers need to know Father God has already, before we get to Heaven, blessed all believers with all the
spiritual blessings of the Kingdom of God and one of those blessings is the authority and dominion of the
believer over all spiritual enemies and all things in the earth that are not of the will of God.

We need to know what belongs to us in Christ and know those spiritual gifts given us but knowledge alone is
not enough. It is knowledge acted upon that brings results.

Authority of God on this earth belongs to all believers in Christ. The devil doesnt want the believers to know
they have this kind of authority over all demonic. He tries to hide the truth of the authority of the believer so
that he can defeat the believer instead of the believer defeating him and his plans in the earth with the
authority given them.

When the child of God knows the truth and acts upon it, then and then only is the child of God no longer
dominated by the devil. The child of God will enjoy the reality that rightfully belongs to him.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. KJV
Now it isnt the truth that will make you free, its knowing the truth and also acting on that truth that makes
you free. So knowing spiritual authority is given to you a believer and using it will cause you to be free from
your spiritual enemies and their attacks and stop their plans in the earth whether with the weather or ungodly
government policies or laws or whatever is evil and destructive.

 Where Do We Target Our Spiritual Authority?

So where is our spiritual authority targeted in the earth? Ephesians 6 shows us the demonic enemy we are
dealing with in this earth.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (the margin says in the
heavenlies). KJV

You and I need to realize that we are dealing with opposition in this world that is created by these spiritual
demonic of principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places and
yet we have authority over all of them through Christ. This spiritual authority is not just for spiritual leaders
but for all believers including you. This authority is the true possession of every child of God.

Jesus also told believers that He had given us authority over the demonic.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the
enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. KJV

Now I want you to notice the word power is used twice in this verse. The word power is used twice there
but are two different Greek words. They are not the same word. Jesus actually said, I have given you
authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.

You see this first Greek word translated power also means authority. And really it would be better if they had
translated that authority; because then you will understand your authority. If you keep the word power there
people will think, Well Ive got the power. And then they will say, Well I dont feel any power.

Its sort of like when you see police directing traffic, say when a stop light has gone out. And he will have cars
come this way for a while and then he will just hold up his hand and everybody will stop. Now that policeman
doesnt have the power or physical strength to hold all of those cars back. He doesnt have that kind of
strength but he has got the authority to do it. We recognize that policemans authority and we honor that
authority.
We need to realize as believers that the devil recognizes authority and he knows the believers who know they
have authority over him and he knows he has to do what they tell him to do.

I heard a story about Smith Wigglesworth. Wigglesworth was an Englishman and lived in England. He was
there in London on one occasion. He was standing on a corner waiting for a bus. A lady came out of an
apartment house close by. She had this little feisty dog come along behind her and the dog was rubbing up

against her ankles. She said, Now honey, you are going to have to go back. You cant go. He just rubbed up
against her ankles. She said, Dear, you cant go. About that time the bus arrived. Mr. Wigglesworth said she
stomped her foot and said, Get! And that dog ran home with his tail tucked between his legs. Smith said,
Without thinking I shouted right out loud, thats the way you got to do the devil.

We need to recognize our authority and just tell the devil to get! In other words, we need to stand our ground
and make the demon get!

Delegated Authority of the Believer

Now why could that policeman we talked about just stop that traffic by holding up his hand? Has he got the
strength or the power to hold all those cars back? No, but hes got the authority. But where did he get that
authority? It was delegated to him.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. KJV

You hear people say when they are going through difficulty, Im trying to be strong. This scripture did not
tell Christians to be strong in their own strength or in their own power or in themselves; but it told them to be
strong in the Lord. Now why can you be strong in the Lord? Because Hes delegated authority to you and me
and its in Him.

The value of authority depends upon the force behind the user. Now the value of authority like that
policeman when he holds up his hand and stops all the traffic depends on the force that is behind him and all
the law is behind that policeman. Now if you get out there with no badge and no authority and hold up your
hand then you will see how many will pay attention to you. With that in mind, Jesus told us,

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you powerKJV

Instead of power lets use authority because that is the meaning of this Greek word.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the
enemy: KJV

Jesus is not talking about snakes and scorpions but just using them as a type; because He said, I give you
power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. So Jesus is calling
serpents and scorpions power of the enemy. Jesus told us, I give you authority. In other words, God Himself
is the Force behind the authority given every believer. I give unto you authority to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.

The believer who is thoroughly conscious of the Divine power behind him and of his own authority can face
the enemy without fear or without hesitancy.

I remember a few years back when I was involved in a ministry and we would minister deliverance to people
who were tormented in their minds or had physical problems as a result of the demonic. We knew our
authority and with words of knowledge we would address these demonic in the Name of Jesus and they would
leave the person and their minds would become clearer and the symptoms on their bodies would go
away. This was the result of using this delegated authority and speaking to those demonic we discerned who
were involved and they had to leave. Praise God.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: KJV

This scripture tells every believer they have already overcome them, and the preceding verses tell us that he is
talking about demons and evil spirits. Now this verse does not say that we are going to overcome them, were
going to try to overcome them; no we have overcome them.

1 John 4:4 because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. KJV

In the first place He that is in you indwells in you by the Person and power of the Holy Spirit. He (Jesus) already
overcome every evil demonic spirit and He gives you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and
over all of the power of the enemy.

Power on earth invested in the Name of Jesus Christ and obtained by Him through His overcoming the
enemy belongs to the Church; therefore exercise that authority for it belongs to you on the earth and then
you shall reign in this life over the enemy by Jesus Christ.

Rom 5:17 For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more
surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness
[putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the
Messiah, the Anointed One). AMP

Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
KJV

Again this word power is the same word that is translated elsewhere as authority in the New
Testament. That is the better translation. In other words, all authority is given unto me in Heaven and in
earth.

Jesus, the Head, Transferred His Authority To His Body

Now notice that Jesus immediately transferred that authority to the Church. Jesus is the Head and we are the
body of Christ. The Bible uses the human body as an illustration of the body of Christ. The authority has to be
activated through the body which is on earth. And the real truth about it is, that the only authority that Christ
has on this earth is through His body. Hes the Head and we are the body of Christ.

How much authority in this world and on this earth can your head exercise apart from your body? None
whatsoever. If you think it can then just cut your head off and just see what your head can do.

Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, KJV

Some Christians believe it is all under Jesus feet. They are thinking about Jesus the Man. But notice He said,
He gave Him to be the head. Do you have any feet in your head? No, hes talking about the feet here in the
Church, in the body; because He gave Him to be head over all things to the Church, which is His body.

The Body Was Raised With Christ

& Seated With Christ in Authority

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in
the heavenly places, KJV

Eph 2:1-6 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;2 Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now
worketh in the children of disobedience:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation (manner of life or
conduct) in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by
nature the children of wrath, even as others.4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he
loved us,5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: KJV

This is something God has already done. He set Jesus at His own right hand in Heaven, the place of
authority. The right hand denotes the place of authority. But this scripture also tells us that God raised us up
together with Christ and made us sit together with Christ in that place of authority at the right hand of the
Father. We are presently seated right there with Christ. Now that all has to do with Ephesians 1:3.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ: KJV

The Father has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ.

Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us
through Christ Jesus. KJV

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, KJV

In other words theres such a putting forth of the Divine omnipotence of Gods power through Jesus in raising
Him from the dead that this is actually the mightest working of God. All principalities, all powers, mights and
dominions and every name thats mentioned in this world and in the ages to come have endeavored to defeat
the plan of God but Christ arose and He ascended and He is seated at the right hand of the Father. Satans
powers have been baffled and overthrown by our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has been enthroned far above
them, ruling with the authority of the Most High. The source of authority is found in this resurrection and
seating of Christ by God.

Now notice that he speaks of the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe. Hes speaking so
that the eyes of the whole Church might be opened. God wants us to know what happened. He wanted us to
know that He set Christ far above all principalities and power and might and dominion, Ephesians 1:21. This
powerful truth is overlooked by so many in the Church. The Spirit of God prayed through the Apostle Paul that
the Church of Ephesus would see it. He prayed that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened that
they may see this. God desires that we too should have wisdom and revelation of this.

Thank God for the Cross of Jesus Christ with its revelation of obedience to God. Thank God for atonement for
sin and crushing defeat of foes showing us that a Representative Man, Christ was our Representative, was a
Representative overcoming for mankind. He was preparing a throne and a heavenly ministry for those who
would overcome through Him.

Now we observe in connection with this identification of Christs people with Himself in this crisis of
resurrection in the very first verse of chapter 2.

Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;5 hath quickened us together with
Christ, KJV
Now notice that the words hath he quickened is italicized. Understand that any time you find words in the
King James Version that are italicized then that means they were not in the original New Testament. They
were not in the Greek. So lets read it and leave those words out.

And you who were dead in trespasses and sins

A better way to express it might be like this, and you when you were dead in trespasses and sins. Now the
reason I want to make this so clear is that the verb that really controls this passage is in the verse 20 of the first
chapter. Remember Paul didnt write a letter to the Ephesians in chapter and verses. When you get here in

the second chapter you are still talking about the continuation of the first chapter. So now go back to the first
chapter and lets read the 19th and 20th verses again.

Eph 1:19-20 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working
of his mighty power,20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own
right hand in the heavenly places, KJV

Now heres what he said, according to the working of the strength of His might when He raised Him from the
dead and you when you were dead. You see the same verse which expresses the reviving of Christ expresses
the reviving of His people. In other words, the act of God which raised Christ from the dead also raised His
body. In the mind of God, when Jesus was raised from the dead we were raised from the dead.

Eph 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: KJV

Now you see this passage talks about the conferring of this authority. Notice that the head and the body are
naturally raised together. Christ is the Head and the Church is the body. We are seated with Him. See, not
just the Head is seated but the body is seated with Christ. This authority is conferred not only upon the
Head but also upon the body; because the Head and the body are one.
When you think of a person you think of their head and body. You dont think of their head apart from their
body do you? And you dont think of their body apart from their head. You think of the whole person.

The Body is Christ in the Earth

The Church, every believer has to get the revelation of the fact that we are Christ. Now people can take that
and run off with it and make all kinds of whatever they want to because they dont listen to what I am
saying. She said she thinks she is Christ. No, the body is Christ and Im a member of that body. If we as
the Church ever get this revelation of the fact that we are Christ then we are going to rise up and do the
works of Christ. When we realize that the authority that belongs to Christ belongs to the individual member
of the body of Christ and is available to us then our lives will be revolutionized.

1 Cor 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being
many, are one body:... KJV

Now he is using the human body as an illustration, isnt he? Of the body of Christ, isnt he?

1 Cor 12:12 is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one
body: so also is Christ. KJV

So also is Christ. The Church is called Christ. We are Christ. Hes calling the body which is the Church Christ.

Now notice further in 1 Cor 12:13,14,

1 Cor 12:13-14,27 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether
we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.14 For the body is not one member, but
many. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. KJV

Thank God we are the body of Christ.

Now notice in 2 Corinthians, Paul continually taught the same truth, the same fact. Notice 2 Corinthians 2:14.

2 Cor 6:14-15 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial?
or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? KJV

The believer is called righteousness. The unbeliever is called unrighteousness. The believer is called
light. The unbeliever is called darkness. The believer is called Christ. The unbeliever is called Belial.

1 Cor 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. KJV

You see, we are one with Christ. We are Christ. We are seated at the right hand of Majesty on high. We are
seated with Him in heavenly places. All things have been put under our feet.

The Body Cant Stay At The Cross The Place of Defeat But Must Come Up & Be Seated With Christ At the
Place of Authority

Now listen to me carefully because you can misunderstand and misconstrue what I am about to say. One
problem of it is that we have too much Cross religion preached. Thats where Christians have thought that we
are supposed to stay, at the Cross. However the Cross is really a place of defeat. The Resurrection is a place of
triumph! We must of course first go to the Cross; but lets not stop at the Cross but come on up and be seated
with Christ at the right hand of the Father, the place of authority. We are not at the Cross. We died with
Christ and we have risen together with Him to sit in the place of authority in Heaven.

Eph 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: KJV

We died with Jesus and water baptism is a type of that death. You are signifying when they buried you in the
water that you died but they didnt leave you there in the water dead. You are brought up out of the
water. You were raised with Christ.

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: KJV

The Church hardly knows anything about sitting in the place of authority with Christ because we havent heard
it preached but I am helping you to come to the revelation of this powerful truth, a truth the Church must
know in these Last Days.

Where is Christ sitting? In heavenly places. Where are we sitting? In heavenly places in Christ. We know that
He is seated and wherever Hes seated we are seated. Wherever the head is thats where the body is seated.

I mean, there you are sitting on a chair. Whatever chair your head is on your body is seated right there with
it. Your head is not over here on this side and your body over on this side. No, both your head and your body
are together seated on a chair.

Jesus is seated at the right hand of the throne of God in the center of the power of the whole universe and we
are seated there with Him.

Its the exercising of power of the Throne that was committed unto the ascended Lord and that authority
belongs to us.

We know that Christ with His physical resurrected body is there in full possession of His rights, awaiting the
Fathers time when Hes enemies, all of them shall be made His footstool.
Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand,..KJV

We know where Jesus is seated and theres where the body of Christ is seated.

Heb 1:13 until I make thine enemies thy footstool? KJV

The Church, the body of Christ have been elevated with Christ to the heavenlies and that has no other
meaning then that we were made to share His authority. We are made to sit with Him and share His throne.

To share a throne means without question to partake of the authority which that throne represents. It is the
plan of God that we partake of the authority of the Throne of God. We have been elevated to this place that
we may exercise to the extent of our spiritual comprehension authority over the powers of the air. Father God
wants all of us to have that spiritual comprehension.

The Spirit prayed through Paul that all might have wisdom and understanding that we might have authority
over the powers of the air and over the conditions which these powers are still creating through their
ceaseless manipulations of the minds of mankind.

Eph 2:1-2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;2 Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now
worketh in the children of disobedience: KJV

Thank God we are elevated above all of that, being seated with Christ and delegated authority over the things
on this earth that is the evil work of the enemy. We have delegated authority over cancerous tumors, all
sickness and disease, all destructive weather patterns that we see in the earth today, all demonic activity of
killing, stealing and destroying just as Jesus had on the earth.
John 14:12 He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; KJV

He rebuked the storm and it seized, and even so with our delegated spiritual authority we can rebuke storms
and they have to seize. This is not just for a select few but all that believe on Christ. We have authority
because we are the body of Christ in the earth and because that authority became available to us because we
are seated with Him. How much more can we walk in this authority when we realize the full revelation of this
authority, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened. We need to realize something about the
authority that is ours and take advantage of it and stop the work of the enemy of death and sickness and
disease and stop the enemy working through destructive weather and so forth in the earth.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. KJV

The King James says in the margin, Against wicked spirits in the heavenlies. We have to remember now that
we are seated far above even these wicked spirits in the heavens.

The Word of God teaches us that these evil spirits are rebel holders of authority and that they have been
dethroned by the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus dethroned them and now we can reign over them.

Satan became the god of this world by Adam committing high treason and selling out to him. 2 Corinthians 4:4
tells us that Satan is the god of this world.

Satan, is called by Paul in 2 Cor 4:4 the god of this world.

God made the earth and the fulness thereof and God gave dominion to Adam over all the work of His
hands. So Satan didnt have dominion here on the earth to begin but Adam had it.

We must continually remember that we are in the world but we are not of the world, not of this world system
that the devil operates. Hes not dominating us. We dominate him with the authority Heaven has delegated
to us. So hes not running everything down here on the earth. These are the truths we need to build in our
hearts and minds by meditating the Word of God and listening to the Lord speak to us daily. Jesus told us that

man shall not live by bread (natural food) alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. So
its spiritual food from the Word of God that we need in order for us to stay healthy believers in Christ.

Again Jesus told believers in Him,

Matt 28:18 All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth. KJV

This is why I am posting this writing because so many believers are going to God every day and they are
praying to the Lord to do this and do that but the truth is the authority Jesus was given, He conferred it upon
every believer to destroy the work of the enemy in the earth. We need to quit praying and instead use our
authority so that things change in the earth to the will of God. God is waiting on us to use that authority in
Jesus Name and make the enemy Christs footstool.

Heaven Doesnt Do Anything

Until The Body Does Something on the Earth

Heb 10:12-13 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of
God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. KJV

All the authority that can be exercised upon the earth has to be exercised through the Church; because the
physical Christ is not here but Christ the Church is here, the body of Christ. Hes at the right hand of the Father
literally; but we the body of Christ are here. All of His orders must be carried out through
His body. Christs authority has been delegated to the body of Christ. We need to realize the Head has already
delegated that authority to us.

We see a lot of problems existing in the earth because the body that has the delegated authority of Heaven
has been so ignorant of their authority over the enemy who has caused all of the problems. The body has
permitted the enemy to pretty much do what he wants to do.

Remember what Jesus said,

Matt 18:18 Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth
shall be loosed in heaven. KJV

Notice Heaven doesnt do anything until something is done on the earth.

Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death (spiritual death) reigned by one; much more they which receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) KJV

Another translation said, shall reign as kings in life by one Jesus Christ.

A well known minister of God shared this testimony: I remember for many years I had been praying for my
oldest brother to be saved. I fasted and prayed. In spite of my prayers it seemed that he got worse instead of
better. I always prayed, God, save him. But I heard the Lord challenging me to do something about it. He
was telling me that I had the authority. So I rose up with my Bible in one hand and lifted up the other hand to
Heaven and said, In the Name of Jesus I break the power of the devil over my brothers life and I claim his
salvation. You see, I had given the order. You see when a king gives an order, he knows that its going to be
carried out because hes in authority. The devil tried to tell me that my brother would not be saved. I
remember I went my way and I went on to another meeting, teaching in the morning time at 10 oclock, in the
afternoon I laid down to rest a little bit. Woke up. I was thirsty and left my bedroom and went across the living
room into the kitchen and got me a glass of water. Just as I stepped back into the living room it was just like
somebody right there with me said, Aw come on now. You dont think old Dub will ever be saved, do you? I
just stopped right there, dead in my tracks and from the inside of me, my spirit began to laugh and it just
bubbled up till it came out my mouth. And I said, Now Mr. devil I dont think that. I never have thought
that. I know it. Because you see, I have taken the Name of Jesus and broke your power over him. Same thing
happened two days later on the same spot. I said the same thing to him. The next Sunday my brother was
saved.

A lot of times people endeavor to use the authority that belong to them but when circumstances dont change
immediately they become disturbed and sometimes discouraged and slip back into the natural. They start
talking unbelief and then they defeat themselves. Unconsciously they give the devil dominion over them. See,
people forget we walk by faith and not by sight. When we speak the Word of faith and stand in the place of
authority then things have to change no matter if they dont look any different or sound any different or feel
any different.

Thank God for the delegated authority of the believer that belongs to all of us so that we take dominion in the
earth and stop demonic work in the earth. We are seated in the place of authority right there at the right
hand of the Father.

Confession of Faith of Your Place of Authority

Now speak this confession of faith out loud for you and the demonic to hear:

I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, at the right hand of the Father, the place of authority. I have been
raised up together with Christ and Christ has made me to sit together in heavenly places in Him. His authority
is my authority. His Name belongs to me. In the mind of God and in the mind of Christ I was raised when
Christ was raised. When Christ sat down, I sat down too. Thats where I am now. I am sitting with Christ with
all the authority given unto Him. That authority belongs to me. I exercise the authority that was given to

Christ, because it belongs to me through Him. I help Him by carrying out His work upon the earth. Not only
have I been made to sit, but I am sitting far above all principality, and power and might and dominion. Not
only is Christ seated at the right hand of the Father far above all these powers but I am there too; for it reads,
he has made me to sit together with Him. Thats where I am and thats the place from which I reign in this life
as a king by one Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for raising me up with you in a placed of authority over all
demons and devils and over all the power of the enemy.
