Introduction

My department would love to thank you for the allocations that you are offering, and they

appreciate the effort that you are putting to make them better employees. Before three weeks I

did some researches with the human resource department, and we discuss what we need in the

accountant office, and how we can use the allocation that you are providing. Until now we have

been focusing on training our employees on the new technology and new skills that develop their

hard skills, and we all witness the surprising outcomes. My proposal for his year is a soft skill

training for the accountant employees. Lets ask our self how many of us sees that soft skills are

not that important as hard skills. Some studies show us that soft skills are important skills that

any department should have them. According to Low, M.G (2013) he read from (Albrecht &

Sack, 2000) that accountant need to master not only the technical skills of their job but also

various soft skills including the ability to communicate, coordinate, work under pressure and

solve problems.

Activity/Experiences
Soft skills are described as skills which characterized the relationship with other people, and that

includes interpersonal skills, social skills, and transferable skills. The employees will develop

their soft skills by practicing different activities including co-operate with other departments

such us the marketing departments. The HR department also will have several surveys that will

help the employees to be comfortable practicing the soft skills. Before we do the three days of

conference I am planning to have one to one discussion with the employees focusing their social

and interpersonal relationship and that will help me to have a general idea about them and what

we need to focus the conference in.

Skills

Because of the technology world that we are living most of the communication between the

employees is through emails and memos and sometimes meeting. I will put focus to develop

their interpersonal skills and communication skills. By the end of this training the employees will

have their interpersonal skills, social skills and their communication skills got improved.

Extracurricular Activities

During the three weeks, the employees will do the survey activity with the HR departments. The

conference will start on Friday and it will be one Sunday. That will be for every employee in the

different department. In the morning, we will have little breakfast, and about 12 oclock we will

have lunch. Those activities will help the employees to know to each other and other stuff

members.

Important of those skills to the company

We all know the effective of working in teams. Here on the accounting department it is more

individual work than team work, and the main reason is the luck of the communication skills

between the supervisor and the employees, also among each other. The training will help them to

improve their communication skill and have enough confidence to work on teams.

Cost

This training will be for one months. The first three months will be the training of the employees

with the HR departments. On the forth month will have a conference for three days. According

the fund that we received (20, 000) we will be able to do the following

Pay for food and the beverage
Paying for the professional soft skills advisors
Pay for the extra hours that the employee will spend on the training

Overview

Even though it will take a month to complete the training, but after one month our stuff will

be completely understand the meaning of the soft skills and its importance. The soft skills

will help them to be technical thinkers, and get comfortable to work with team.
