Comments by Hafizuddin Yahaya about the marking of Literature component

(novel):

Its not really the length that matters, but the quality and the depth. However, it
is always best if students can give at least 2 to 3 content points, then elaborate
by giving suitable relate evidences (if they can use direct quotes from the novel,
the better). Plus, recently KBAT element was added to the question, hence
students need to give their personal response (the effect) to the question
asked (the cause). This personal response has marks too because if students
did not give the response, it means that they did not fully answer the whole
question.

Comments by Sashi: Its not the length but the quality of the answer. Importance
is also given to evidence quoted from text. Synopsis has minimal marks.
