Parents Letter
Hello, My name is Taylor Hurt. I am thrilled to introduce myself as your students
history teacher this year. I am from Bunceton, MO where I graduated from high
school in 2011. After that I attended Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO,
but I finished my degree in 2017 at State Fair Community College in Boonville,
MO where I am currently living.

Classroom Expectations
Be positive, whether things are going as planned positivity is key to having a
good day.
Be respectful, to your teacher and other teachers, classmates, and everyone
around you.
If you have a question ask, no question is a dumb question. All people learn
differently.
Be Safe, use all classroom supply properly so you dont hurt yourself or
anyone around you.
Be responsible, turn in all assignments on time, study when needed, and
make sure to clean up when needed.

1. Schedule regular homework time.
Just learn when your kid works best, it all depends on your child.
2. Set up a homework-friendly area.
Make sure they have a well-lit area with all the supplies they will need to
complete homework.
3. Be a motivator and Monitor.
Ask about quizzes, assignments, and tests. Give encouragement to build
confidence.
