The Israeli Legisla ve Authori es have deliberately
issued new laws on how to deal with detained
Pales nian children. The most prominent law is
the one that was passed by the Israeli Knesset on
25/11/2015, which allows Israeli courts to prosecute

and imprison Pales nian children in Jerusalem at the
age of 12, while the actual imprisonment sentence
shall be in eect a er the age of 14. Besides, the
Israeli courts have enacted the law of aggrava ng the
penalty against Pales nian children who throw stones
to actual imprisonment for 20 years.
Despite the fact that the tes monies of the children
who were interviewed by the lawyers of the commi ee
did not include a lot of details, they prove that Israel
violates the provisions of the Interna onal Conven on
on the Rights of the Child. This conven on states that
Every child deprived of liberty shall be treated with
humanity and respect for the inherent dignity of the
human person, and in a manner which takes into
account the needs of persons of his or her age .In this
booklet, we men on dozens of tes monies of minor
children who have been subjected to one or more
form of physical and psychological torture, which le
nega ve social eects on them and their families.

Facts and figures
Arrest cases in Pales ne include all age and gender classes,
such as males, females and minor children. The most
distressful ma er is the targe ng of Pales nian children
under the age of 18, whereas we observed (1384) arrest
cases of minor children between the ages of 11-18 during
2016, cons tu ng 21% of the total arrests in that year.
The policy of house deten on has escalated in 2016 and
targeted minor children from Jerusalem along with heavy
fines. It aims at restric ng the freedom of Pales nians as
an alterna ve of the imprisonment sentence.
Sta s cs show that the number of Jerusalemite children
who were sentenced to house deten on is (78) child.
In the previous year, (60) decision of house deten on
sentence was recorded, therefore, a percentage of 30% is
added to the said number.
The year of 2016 witnessed unprecedented deterrent
sentences against detained children in the Israeli military
courts. A case in point of this is a verdict of 12 years
imprisonment against the child Ahmad Manasra which
took place on 07/11/2016 in addi on to a financial
penalty of 180.000 NIS.
Another case in point is a verdict against both children
Monther Abu Shmali (15 years old) and Muhammad
Taha (16 years old) who were sentenced to 11 years of
imprisonment and a financial penalty of 50.000 NIS.
Moreover, the Israeli court issued a 16 year imprisonment
sentence against the minor Shoruq Dwayat and a financial
penalty of 80.000 NIS.
 Abdallah Odeh
The 17 - year - old detainee

Abdallah Samir Mahmood Odeh, from

Nablus, was detained on 06/09/2016.
He suered from kidney pain, couldnt
sleep at night when he was arrested,
and was given painkillers only. He was
arrested from the border crossing
of Jordan, while he was travelling to
receive medical treatment. Police
ocers handcued and blindfolded
him, and took him to a close military
camp where he spent the night. He
asked for water but they refused to
give him, they also refused to let him
use the bathroom. They transferred
him from the military camp to Huwara
prison. In the a ernoon, they took
him to Megiddo prison. While he was
at Huwara prison, he suered from
severe pain all over his body, and
a doctor came and examined him
without giving him any medica on.

Mohammad Abu Alrob
The 17 - year - old detainee
Mohammad Salah Nayef Abo Alrob,
from Tulkarem was arrested on
22/09/2016 and imprisoned in
Megiddo prison. He was walking in the
neighborhood when he saw 4 police
ocers, they a acked him, took his
cellphone, hit him and handcued
him. Then, they seated him in the
police car and took him to a police
sta on at Al-Taybah city. In the
interroga on room, they turned on
the air condi oner at low temperature
in order to make him feel cold and
to disturb him, hit him on all parts of
his body and did not allow him to call
his family. He was exposed to solitary
confinement for nine days. He was
interrogated many mes and for long
hours and a er the termina on of the
interroga on, they moved him to the
minors sec on at Megiddo prison.

Rafe Qaddumi
The 17- year-old detainee
Rafe Mohammad Yosif Qaddumi, from
Qaliqilia, was detained on 25/10/2016
at 8:00 am. He was going with his
family to pick olives when he got
stopped by a soldier. The soldier asked
him about his name and ID card and
then told him that he is under arrest.
Soldiers told the family to go back
to their land and then called for the
military jeep. Rafe sat on the ground
for an hour and a half, they handcued
and blindfolded him and then pushed
him inside the jeep. They took him to
the interroga on headquarter, where
they interrogated him for two hours
and transferred him to the minors
sec on at Megiddo prison.

Adam Darweesh
The 14 - year - old detainee
Adam Mohammad Dawood Darweesh,
from Bethlehem, was detained on
10/01/2016 at 5:00 pm. A group
of se lers entered the camp and
pretended to be tourists. Suddenly,
they a acked him and hit him, he
tried to escape but failed. He said
that they a acked him and tried to
suocate him so he could not breathe.
He was blindfolded and handcued,
and transferred to Al Qubba military
camp. He remained there ll 12:00 am
without receiving any food or water.

Jihad Nidal
The 17 - year - old detainee
Jihad Nidal, from Ramallah, was
detained on 31/10/2016. He is
disabled and uses walking s cks due
to an injury in his right foot. He is
detained at Ofer prison, whereas he
was arrested from his house at 4:00
am, when the Israeli occupa on forces
stormed his house forcibly in a brutal
way. They broke the furniture to terrify
his family, dragged him and forced
him to walk for twenty minutes. He
was unable to walk, but they ignored
his health condi on. His walking
s cks dropped down but they didnt
oer any help. Soldiers were cursing,
insul ng and making fun of him, and
hit him on the injured foot. One of the
soldiers hit him on the face using a
metal wire causing wounds and scars
on his face. A soldier came and asked
Jihad if he was thirsty, he answered
yes, but the soldiers brought a glass
of water and poured it on his body
instead of allowing him to drink it. He
did not receive any food or water for
72 hours.

 Ammar Tawfiq Abu Hlel
The 17 - year - old detainee

Ammar, from Hebron, was arrested

on 11/10/2016, and he is currently
imprisoned at Ofer prison. He was
subjected to intense bea ng by the
Israeli soldiers when he got arrested.
They hit him on every part of his
body and took him to the military
tower. There, he was handcued and
blindfolded and received many slaps
on the face in order to force him to
admit his guilt. Ammar was taken to
the interroga on center in Kiryat Arba.
He arrived at 4:00 pm and remained
there ll 9:00 am of the next morning.
Ocers were interroga ng him about
his work and the reason for going to
Al-Fawar camp. As a result of pressure
and threats, he confessed that he
threw stones at the soldiers.

Khalid Eshtayeh
The 14 - year - old detainee
Omar Eshtayeh, from Jerusalem, was
detained on 28/04/2016, and he is
currently imprisoned at the minors
sec on in Megiddo prison. Israeli
soldiers started the inves ga on
with him directly and prevented his
father from accompany him to the
interroga on room. Omar has been
suering from diabetes since 6 years
and takes 4 to 5 Insulin injec ons.
He has a device a ached to his body
that gives him a signal when there
is a change in the level of sugar in
his blood. However, the interrogator
refused to let him use this device
and took it away which put his health
at risk. Such ac on taken by the
interrogator is prac ced to increase
the pressure on Omar in order to
force him to admit guilt. Omar was
interrogated while being handcued
for 3 hours. On 27/05/2016, he was
sentenced to house deten on and was
released a er a while. However, he
was re-arrested a er 3 months.

Mohammad Matuq
The 17 - year - old detainee
Mohammad Matuq, is form
Jerusalem. He was arrested on
09/01/2015 and is now imprisoned
at the minors sec on in Megiddo
prison. He is sentenced to 4 months
of imprisonment and a fine of 6000
NIS. He had been dragged and beaten
brutally by the Israeli soldiers who
severely hit him using thick s cks on
his face, hands and legs, which caused
him to be unable to stand or walk.
A erwards, they dragged him to Al
Qishleh Police Sta on and placed him
in the bathroom. They threatened him
to be sexually abused if he does not
confess that he tried to stab a se ler.
Moreover, they threatened him to
bring his mother and sister to put
more pressure on him.

Ez Al-Din Radaydah
The 17 - year - old detainee
Ez Al-Din, is from Bethlehem. He
was arrested on 08/04/2016, and is
currently imprisoned at the minors
sec on in Megiddo prison. He was
arrested from the train sta on in
the city of Jerusalem whereas Israeli
soldiers dragged him to Neve Yaaqoub
Police Sta on and forced him to kneel
with his head down toward the wall,
while being handcued for 3 hours. He
was moved to Al Maskobiyeh prison
and remained there for 45 days. He
was subjected to brutal a acks during
his interroga on.

Bader Qadus
The 16 - year - old detainee
Bader, is from Nablus. He was arrested
on 24/08/2016. In the mean me, he
is imprisoned at the minors sec on in
Megiddo prison. Israeli soldiers took
him to Braga se lement and dragged
him through the mountains for 3
hours. He was very red because the
road was full of stones and thorns. He
said that the soldiers were laughing at
him and insul ng him.

 Huthaifa Taha
The 17 - year - old detainee

Huthaifa Taha, is from Jerusalem. He

was arrested on 04/01/2016. Huthaifa
was subjected to medical neglect a er
he was wounded, and he received the
treatment only by his colleagues in
Alsharon prison. He got arrested from
a sta on near Bab Al-amoud, where
there was a clash between a group
of young men and Israeli soldiers. He
was heading to his home escaping
from the clash when he was shot by
four bullets, one in the le leg, two
in the right leg and one in the right
hand. He fell on the ground and lost
his consciousness, and then woke up
at Shaarie Tzedek Hospital. Live bullets
penetrated his arm and leg causing
wounds in the muscles. However,
they only sterilized the wound and
transferred him to Al-Maskobiyeh
prison in the next morning. When he

arrived, they searched him and took
him directly to the interroga on room.
The inves gator shouted, cursed and

Abdul Rahman Abbasi
The 16 - year - old detainee
Abdul Rahman Nidal Mahmoud
Abbasi, is from Jerusalem. He was
arrested on 17/10/2016, and is
now imprisoned at Megiddo prison.
There were clashes between young
men and Israeli soldiers, when he
saw boys dragged by military cars.
He got afraid and ran away but he
fell on the ground. Three soldiers
a acked him and hit him intensively.
A er that, they handcued him
and took him to the car surrounded
by two police ocers. When they
arrived at the police sta on, they
searched him and handcued him for
4 hours. A erwards, they took him
to the interroga on room, where he
remained for two hours. Therea er,
they transferred him to Al Maskobiyeh
prison. He remained there for 20
days and then got transferred to the
minors sec on at Megiddo prison.

Muhammad Ateya
The 15 - year - old detainee
Muhamad Ateya, from Jerusalem,
was detained on 19/04/2016 at 3:00
am. A large number of Intelligence
ocers and Special Forces stormed
his house and asked his father to
search through the house as they have
an arrest warrant. Ocers entered
Muhammads room and screamed
to awake him. Then, they dragged
him out of bed and forced him to
wear his clothes in a short me. They
handcued him and took him outside
the house, and beat him using their
hands, rifles and huge s cks. They
took him to Al Maskobiyeh prison and
forced him to kneel pu ng his head
between his feet with hands behind
his back, and he remained there for
10 hours. The inves ga on lasted for
3 hours, and then they took him to Al
Maskobiyeh prison. He stayed there
for 16 days, and then was transferred
to the minors sec on at Megiddo
prison. Muhammad Ateya says: we
suer from the jailers treatment,
whereas they enter our rooms
suddenly, beat the detainees severely
and pour cold water on them.

Muhammad Obeidat
The 16 - year - old detainee
Muhammad Obeidat, from Jeruslaem,
was detained on 19/05/2016 at 3:00
pm. The ocer asked him some
ques ons and asked him to sign a
paper wri en in Hebrew and Arabic
sta ng that he was not beaten.
A er that, they handcued him and
took him outside the house. They
interrogated him at Al Maskobieh
prison for 6 hours, the interrogator
cursed him all the me and slapped
him on the face to admit guilt. He
stayed at Al Maskobieh prison for
14 days and was interrogated 17
mes, and then he was transferred
to the minors sec on at Megiddo
prison. Muhammad Obeidat says: we
suer during the transferring process
form Megiddo prison to the court in
Jerusalem, whereas it takes 3 days.
Special Forces are responsible for
transferring us, and they mistreat, beat
and deprive us from drinking water.

The 17 - year - old detainee
Muhammad Ahmad Hussain Halsi,
from Jerusalem, was detained on
19/05/2016 at midnight. A large
number of Intelligence ocers and
Special Forces reached to his house
and entered his room while he was
sleeping. They hit him, and asked him
some ques ons. Then, they forced him
to sign a paper wri en in Hebrew and
Arabic sta ng that he was not tortured
during his arrest. A er that, they
handcued him and took him outside
the house. They interrogated him for
a long me while being handcued.
The interrogator cursed him and
slapped him on the face many mes.
He remained at Al Maskobieh prison
for 14 days and was interrogated 12
mes, and then he was transferred to
the minors sec on at Megiddo prison.

admit guilt. Omar says that he suered
from a bad psychological situa on.

Jihad Ghaban
The 17 - year - old detainee
Jihad Ghaban, from Gaza strip, was
detained on 13/05/2016. The Israeli
Occupa on Forces arrested him while
he was crossing the border between
Gaza and Israel. This incident occurred
at 7:00 am, when 3 soldiers a acked
him and shouted at him to take o
his clothes. They searched him while
he was blindfolded and then took
him to a military camp. They hit him
intensively and forced him to kneel
on the ground. Also, they humiliated
him and mocked him. A er that, they
took him to Ashkelon prison. They
placed him in solitary confinement
and then transferred him to the
interroga on room, they interrogated
him for five hours, and took him back
to the solitary confinement where
he remained there for 25 days. He
suered from a bad psychological
condi on, which made him cry and
scream all the me, he had a nervous
breakdown and tried to commit
suicide many mes. They interrogated
him 15 mes while being shackled.

Yazan Essa
The 16 - year - old detainee
Yazan Nidal Ahmad Essa, from
Jerusalem, was detained on
17/04/2016. A large number of
Intelligence ocers and Special Forces
stormed his house, they searched his
house and arrested him. They chained
him and took him to the police sta on
at Salah Al Deen Street. He stayed at
the wai ng room for 3 hours, and then
was taken to the interroga on room.
Therea er, they transferred him to Al
Maskobieh prison and stayed there for
20 days. He was interrogated 4 mes
while being chained. He suers a lot
from the transporta on during the
transferring process from Megiddo
prison to the court in Jerusalem since
it takes 3 days to move from Megiddo
prison to Al Ramla prison and to the
court in Jerusalem. He said that the
Special Forces who are responsible
for the transferring process beat him
without any reason, and deprived him
from drinking water.

Nidal Adwin
The 17 - year - old detainee
Nidal Majid Yousef Adwin, from
Jerusalem, was detained on
01/05/2016 from his house at 8:00am.
They chained him and took him to the
police sta on at Salah Al Deen Street.
They interrogated him for 3 hours, and
the interrogator kept slapping him to
confess. A er that, they transferred
him to Al Maskobiyeh prison and
remained there for 18 days. He was
interrogated 3 mes while being
chained. A er that, he was transferred
to the minors sec on at Megiddo
prison. He had a court session on
09/06/2016 and asked the judge to
cancel the house deten on and go
back to the prison. Indeed, at the
same day he was transferred to the
minors sec on at Megiddo prison.

Ahmad Manasra
The 14-year-old detainee
Ahmad Saleh Manasra is from
Jerusalem. He was thirteen-years-
old when he was shot and arrested
on 12/10/2015 by the Israeli forces.
Ahmad was exposed to ill-treatment
and experienced both physical and
psychological torture by se lers
and the Israeli police. The Israelis
claimed that he had intended to
stab two se lers in Pisgat Zeev area.
His tragedy began when he was
inten onally hit by an Israeli car,
arrested, beaten brutally, and verbally
abused by the Israeli police and
se lers. The video of his interroga on
is an evidence of viola ng human
rights and interna onal conven ons.
The biased Israeli judiciary contributed
to his suering by renewing his trial
repeatedly, un l he turns fourteen
years. According to Israeli laws, it is
allowed to deal with 14 - year - old
children as adults and trial them
for a longer period of me. This
law is another example of viola ng
the Interna onal law which defines
children as any person up to the age of
18 years.

 Yousef Nathmi Alsheikh
The 17 - year - old detainee

Yousef Alsheikh, is from Jerusalem. A

large number of soldiers entered his
house and broke the furniture. They
took him and blindfolded him with a
e full of petrol. Inside the car, they
beat him all over his body, cursed
him, and humiliated him. He suered
from severe pains in his eyes and
face from the petrol. The physician
no ced the redness in his eyes and
the smell of petrol, but he ignored
this and examined his knee only,
which was injured one day before his
arrest. Then, they moved him to Al
Maskobiyeh and remained there for 25
days. The interroga on was very cruel,
whereas he was ed to a chair. He
suered from medical negligence as
they only gave him painkillers.

Ahmad Alkhdour
The 16 - year - old detainee
Ahmad Mahmoud Alkhdour,
from Ramallah, was detained on
02/01/2017. He was a acked by Israeli
soldiers who beat him with rifles on
the head and face. He was dragged
to Atarot deten on center and was
beaten all over his body. Ahmad
has been suering from leukemia
since three years, and during that
me, he had a blood clot in his right
arm and le leg which caused him a
paralysis. The Israeli soldiers know
very well about his health condi on,
nevertheless, they tortured, insulted
and beat him.

Muhannad Shabrawi
The 17 - year - old detainee
Muhannad Abdelhaleem Shabrawi,
from Ramallah, was detained on
02/12/2016. He was interrogated at Al
Maskobiyeh deten on center. He told
the interrogators from the beginning
that he is sick and has health problems
in the chest. Nevertheless, the
interrogators treated him violently and
beat him with a thick plas c s ck on
the face which caused redness in his
eyes.

The 16 - year - old detainee
Ziyad Mlehat, from Ramallah, was
detained on 02/01/2017. He was
subjected to brutal a ack by Israeli
soldiers since the moment of his
arrest. He was forced to stand up while
opening his legs for a long me, which
caused him severe pain. Moreover, the
inves gators cursed and shouted at
Ahmad to compel him to admit guilt
without taking into account his health
condi ons.

Mousa Aldebe
The 15 - year - old detainee
Mousa Aldebe, is from Jeruslaem. He
was detained on 08/11/2016 from
his house at midnight. Special Forces
and Police ocers stormed his house,
chained and beat him. They forced him
to get in the military car and seated
him between two ocers. Whenever
he made any move, they beat him
intensively. He was interrogated at Al
Maskobiyeh deten on center for five
hours while being chained. Therea er,
he was transferred to the minors
sec on in Megiddo prison.

The 17 - year - old detainee

Muhammad Ashwi, is from Jerusalem.

He was detained on 05/12/2016
from his neighborhood at 10:00 am.
Three soldiers a acked him when he
was in his way home. They beat him,
chained his hands and forced him to
get in the jeep. Moreover, they hit
him all over his body with their rifles.
They took him to the police sta on for
interroga on and kept him naked for a
long period of me.

The 15 - year - old detainee
Mutasem Obied, is from Jerusalem.
He was detained on 15/11/2016 from
his house at 3:00 am. Many soldiers
and Special Forces stormed his house
and arrested him without allowing him
to put on his clothes. They took him
outside his home almost naked in the
cold weather. They chained his hands
with plas c es and hit him on the
face and legs. He remained chained
for five hours during the interroga on,
whereas he was subjected to
torture and intense bea ng. He was
transferred to the court and then to
the minors sec on at Megiddo prison.

Ahmad Noman Abu Sharkh
The 15 - year - old detainee
Ahmad Noman, from Jerusalem,
was detained on 15/05/2015. He
was subjected to intensive bea ng
during the interroga on, and his
mother was prevented from a ending
his interroga on. He was beaten
intensively on his face, back and
abdomen which caused him severe
pain. Interrogators seated him on a
small chair, chained his hands and
legs, and hit him with rifles. They also
threatened to torture him in case he
does not admit guilt.

Muhammad Al Rashq
The 17 - year - old detainee
Muhammad Hamdi Al Rashq,
from Jerusalem, was detained on
23/04/2015. Since the first moment
of deten on, soldiers beat him with
rifles and huge s cks which caused
him deep wounds and bleeding. He
remained at Al Maskobiyeh deten on
center for 11 days, where he was ill-
treated by jailers and was exposed to
solitary confinement for two days.

Hamza Rabee Essailah, from
Jerusalem, was detained on
03/05/2015. He was arrested from
his house at 3:00 am, whereas many
soldiers broke through his house and
hit his father and brother. Hamza was
beaten un l he lost consciousness. He
said that he was tortured by an ocer
called Jaco, who hit him on the face
and interrogated him for five hours in
each session.

 Mahmoud Abu Osba
The 17 - year - old detainee

Mahmoud Saed Abu Osba, from

Ramallah, was detained in February
2015. Currently, he is jailed at the
minors sec on in Al Sharon prison.
He got arrested for assaul ng one of
the se lers. Many soldiers a acked
him, laid him down at the ground and
hit him on the face and his wounded
knee. He said that he was beaten on
his face in order to injure his le eye,
so that he could not see anymore. He
lost his conscious and woke up in the
interroga on center of Al Maskobiyeh.
He remained there for 30 days without
receiving any medical treatment.

Maher Hussain
The 17 - year - old detainee
Maher Ahmad Hussain, from Qalqilia,
was detained on 02/04/2015, while
he was trying to enter Israel without
an entry permit. Soldiers chased him
and opened fire towards him. Later,
they arrested him, laid him down on
the ground and hit him hysterically on
his face with rifles, besides, they hit
him on his face with a wireless device
which caused him severe bleeding.
He was interrogated for 6 hours while
bleeding, and then he was transferred
to Petah Tikva deten on center.

Iyad Maher Adawi, from Jerusalem,
was interrogated at Al Maskobiyeh
deten on center while being shackled
and blindfolded. He was beaten
intensively when they transferred
him by the military jeep. One of the
soldiers injured Iyads hand with a
knife, pretending that he wanted to
unbind the plas c es. They took him
to the military camp, tortured and
assaulted him.

Ahmad Adnan Muna, from Jerusalem,
was detained on 04/02/2015. He
said that he had been ill-treated
and intensively beaten while being
interrogated. He got arrested from his
house at 5:00 am. Police ocers took
him to Al Qishleh interroga on center
and interrogated him while being
shackled. One of the interrogators
took him to the bathroom and put his
head in the toilet. They wanted to put
more pressure on him to compel him
to admit guilt. When he refused to
confess, four Israeli civilians entered
the interroga on room, hit him
violently and took him back to the
toilet. He lost his conscious and they
con nued to punch and strike him.

Shukri Muhammad Hantash,
from Jerusalem, was detained on
28/09/2015. Five soldiers a acked
him, laid him on the ground and
beat him in a brutal way. They stroke
him with rifles on his leg and back,
and then he could not move due to
the severe pain. He got shackled,
blindfolded and was transferred to a
military camp. Soldiers strip-searched
and stroke him with a metal wire on
his back, which caused him intense
pain. Scars remained on his body for
a month. They interrogated him for
two hours and then took him to the
minors sec on in Ofer prison.

Ramallah, was detained on
11/09/2015. Many soldiers stormed
his house at 2:00 am, and entered
his room while he was asleep. They
screamed at Muhammad and hit

arrested him without allowing him to
change his clothes. He was shackled,
blindfolded and strip-searched. Police
ocers transferred him to Itzion camp
and interrogated him for a long period

Muhammad Yousef Al Akel, from
Jerusalem, was detained on
18/09/2015. He was a acked by six
se lers who stroke him brutally using
guns, s cks and metal boots. His face
was full of blood due to the intense
bea ng. He got handcued, seated on
the ground and beaten without mercy.
Soldiers cursed, insulted and made
fun of him. Ahmad said that they
transferred him to Atarot camp. He got
interrogated while bleeding, whereas
soldiers did not allow him to wash his
face. A er the interroga on session,
he was transferred to Ofer prison and
then to Megiddo prison where he was
strip-searched.

Baraa Mashhour Qasem, form
Jerusalem, was detained on
19/09/2015. He got arrested
near his house where there were
clashes between Israeli soldiers
and Pales nian young men. Seven

metal boots. He had several fractures
in his right wrist and severe pain all
over his body. A er that, they took
him to Maale Adumim se lement and
interrogated him for two hours. They
took him to the hospital and chained
his hands to the bed, and then they
interrogated him for three hours
during his stay at the hospital.

center and was interrogated for three
hours. A er that, he was transferred
to a court in Ofer which extended his
deten on. He remained there for 60
days, and then he was transferred to
the minors sec on at Megiddo prison.

detained on 13/12/2016. Israeli
soldiers stormed his house and broke
the entrance door at 3:00 am. They
entered his room and shouted to
awake him. They asked him many

without allowing him to change his
clothes in spite of the cold weather.
He was subjected to torture and
intense bea ng during his arrest, as
they hit him on his back while being

has been suering from cancer
since three years, and that he was
receiving medical treatment before
his deten on. He had a clot in his right
arm and right leg, and became unable
to walk normally.

Suhab Issam Saed, from Ramallah,
was detained on 20/01/2017. He
got chased by Israeli soldiers while
he was walking in the neighborhood
with his friends. He tried to escape
but he could not and got arrested.

him on his face. A er that, they put
him in the military jeep, took him
to a se lement and handcued and
blindfolded him. He was interrogated
on throwing stones and bargained
to be released if he admits guilt.
Unfortunately, he admi ed but he is
s ll imprisoned.
