Clinton Marine Survey
Clinton was established in 1989 with the goal of offering all types of geodetic
measurement and measurement-related reporting both on land and at sea. It was
founded by Johan Nystrm, who remains the CEO of Clinton Mtkonsult AB.
During 2014 a separate subsidiary, Clinton Marine Survey AB, was established
to further continueour growth and investment in the areas of geophysical and
hydrographic mapping.
At Clinton the personnel are the core and we are a mix of experts such as;
Hydrographic Surveyors, Chart Editors, Data Processors, Marine Biologists, Marine
Geologists, Oceanographers, Geophysicists, Captains, Crew and Engineers.
The company is based in Sweden with offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm and
Malm and owns a number of vessels specifically designed for working in extreme
shallow to medium water depths. We operate specialist shallow water survey
systems capable of achieving and in many cases exceeding the International
Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Special Publication S-44 Special Order standard.

Hydrographic Mapping
Clinton Marine Survey AB performs hydrographic surveys for navigation, dredging
operations, charting, marine construction, energy industries and much more.
Our experienced and competent staff, coupled with a flexible fleet holding of
vessels of various sizes, enable us to provide customized solutions for project
specific requirements.
Our vessels have permanent hull mounted Kongsberg multibeam echo soun-
ders, using the EM2040 dual head configuration. The EM2040D systems installed
on our vessels are 0.35 x 0.7 degree for high precision and produce one of largest
swaths available on the market. Our systems also utilize dual swath, which gives
a cost effective solution and provides high quality to our end clients from survey
speeds of up to 15 knots.
All data is acquired and post-processed by state of the art technology and soft-
ware, operated by experienced surveyors, hydrographers and geologists in order
to ensure high quality products which meet IHO S-44 Special Order standards for
Hydrographic Surveys.

ROV
Our ROV systems are designed for use in multiple applications and operations.
Using a modular ROV with an open frame design, the remote operated vehicle hosts
all the standard items required of an inspection class ROV whilst still having room
for tooling and sensor expansion if needed. The vehicles are lightweight and can
easily be deployed and retrieved from our vessels.
Clinton provides equipment and techniques including: Blueview Surveys, Object
Inspection, Harbour Inspection, UXO Inspection, Cathodic Protection measurement,
Laser scaling Manipulator arms for search and recovery.

Environmental Survey
In addition to hydrographicand geophysical surveys we also provide environmental
services. For instance, in support of dredging operations in ports weve monitored
the amount of suspended material through measurements of CTD and water samp-
les in order to fulfill environmental requirements implemented by governmental
control.
Other services: Habitat-mapping with ROV or other camera devices which can
also be combined with backscatter from our geophysical surveys, Salinity, pH, tur-
bidity and temperature profiles measured with CTD MIDAS 400+. Water sampling
with Hydro Bios for chemical analysis (pollution, PAH:s, TBT), Sediment sampling
to encounter in fauna with van Ween grabber or core sampler.
We also perform environmental reports, modelling, presentations and statistics
which can be provided by our experienced staff with their thorough knowledge in
marine biology, chemistry and oceanography.

Topographical Survey
Clinton produces highly accurate and detailed topographical surveys, from near-
shore sites to urban environments. We believe our strength is our understanding of
our clients needs and requirements, which enables us to deliver a state-of-the-art
service and delivery.
Our experienced, strong team is currently working in environments ranging
from large scale projects to more densely situated locations.Clinton is able to
undertake many types of topographic surveys and produce AutoCAD drawings to
scale or data exchange format files.
Aided by the latest Leica Total Stations, GPS & 3D scanning technology, Clinton
provides our clients with a cost effective solution to Survey, Draft and Issue the
Final Drawings. We are able to provide services ranging from conventional survey
techniques using Total Stations to GNSS and High Definition 3D scanning.
Clinton has the latest technology at our disposal and our highly competent per-
sonnel have the skills and experience in all scenarios to deliver the end product.
All of our equipment is supplied by Leica or Trimble, leaders in modern survey
equipment, and this integrated package guarantees high standards of quality ass-
urance for your project.

Geophysical Survey
Clinton Marine Survey has more than 25 years experience of geophysical survey
utilizing different sensors and setups such as; Multibeam Echo Sounders, Side Scan
Sonars, Sub Bottom Profilers, Shallow Seismic, Magnetometers, EM and lasers.
Clinton also has wide experience of processing, QC and presenting geophysical
data using a multitude of different software such as; EIVA NaviSuite, QPS Fleder-
Maus, Caris HIPS, Chesapeake SonarWiz, IHS Kingdom, Globe Claritas, Geosoft
Oasis Montaj, Safe FME, QGIS and Autodesk CAD.

UXO Survey
Clinton Marine Survey has wide experience of working with different sensors and set-
ups such as total field, EM and gradiometer. We pride ourselves on maintaining a
close working relationship with manufactures and software providers to maintain high
quality services, which enables us to be in the forefront of UXO marine detection.
Clinton Marine Survey is also very experienced in processing, reprocessing, QC,
advisory and desktop studies.
Processing is mainly performed in Oasis Montaj with the UXO Marine module.
In addition, other software such as Safe FME, GIS and ACAD is also utilized to en-
hance the processing, QC and for graphical presentation of the results to the client.

Reporting
Clinton delivers a high quality report and products to ensure that the end client or
end user can make the right decisions in the next phase of their project. To be able
to achieve this we strive to be in the forefront of software utilisation and standardize
our workflow to create cost effective product.
Clinton uses Safe FME, QGIS and Autodesk CAD charting and end products.
Our focus is to deliver in time and according to the needs of the project.

Vision QHSE
With active personnel and a strong focus on QHSE Quality, Health, Safety and
Environmental work, Clinton ensures that our long term goal is fulfilled:
That each completed assignment will be a recommendation for future mis-
sions in the survey industry.
To be able to achieve this Clinton: Focuses on customer requirements, needs
and expectations to deliver the services and products which have been agreed.
Creates a customer supplier relationship in which each employee is respon-
sible for the quality of their own work. Ensures that all employees are aware of the
quality policy implemented by the requirements.
In our daily work Clinton strives to think of and care for the environment and
our impact on this, including with our emissions.
Clinton have good environmental knowledge with the aim being to continuously
improve operations and help our understanding, and to follow the laws we are
subject to.
We actively manage a gender equal work enviroment. Gender mainstreaming
is a consistent theme in Clintons activities in all areas. An Equality Plan is the
obvious starting point and a concrete tool for ensuring gender equality work within
our organization.
Clinton works with QHSE standards in the marine survey industry and has a
quality system certified to ISO 9001:2008, an environmental management system
according to ISO 14001:2004.
