M2 Reflection

Are the rhetorical devices that you have included both effective and apparent to your

audience?

Yes, the rhetorical devices are obviously stated in the essay and help argue my

point that opioid education should be mandatory.

How was writing something meant to be performed in front of an audience different from

writing a traditional essay?

Writing a performed essay was different because I could use 1st person instead of

only using 3rd person.

What was the most challenging part about trying to anticipate the reactions of your

audience?

The most challenging part about trying to anticipate the reactions of my audience

was how they would react in general to my essay and idea about opioid education.

I was mortified, waiting for any audience responce to my essay.

Discuss the delivery of your speech in comparison to the delivery of two of your

classmates.
 The delivery of my speech was much more crucial than my classmate Gus, who

did his from the perspective of a super villain who was advocating opioids

because my speech actually came up with an idea to solve the opioid epidemic

rather than advocate it. My delivery was much slower than Aishas, because I had

less to say, however we had a similar stance on the solution to the opioid

epidemic.
