TITLE: How to make a world a better living by achieving the sustainable development
goals on good health and well-being?

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. First of all, let us say thanks to Allah SWT, which has
given guidance and blessing to us, therefore we can gather here in this beautiful place
Semarang and without hindrance of any. Our shalawat and greeting are always delivers on our
great prophet Muhammad SAW, which has brought us from darkness to brighter.

Ladies and gentlemen talking about our role to achieve development sustainable goals on
health and well-being as a medical student, what exactly we can do to achieve that? Well first I
want to tell you that yesterday was a world health day under sponsorship world health
organization (WHO) so we have to celebrated from now before its to late. I mean celebrated its
not throw a party or something like that I mean, we can start by our role as a medical student to
make a world a better living.

As you may know that the world is an awfully big place and there are accordingly a huge
number of things that you can do to make it an even more incredible place to live. But
sometimes having so many options can be overwhelming and there may be ways that you can
help that you never thought about before.

First, make a statement with what you buy. What you buy its such as food and drink. Currently
theres so many junk food, theyre like everywhere you can find it every single edge of the city,
literally. Not only a junk food, lately theres a food that made from a dye clothes, or even a rice
made from clothes whitening. It so horible, isnt it?. You have to shout as loud as you can!
Dont buy anything, any product that might cause disease of your digestive system and food
that made from any chemical substance! Whenever you can, just buy some healthy food like
vegetables, fruit,or even a meat but I suggested you cooked it by yourself because you exactly
know what did you used to cooked it. Dont expect that junk food companies will actually care
about your health.

Second, take pride in where you live. Take care of and take pride in the area where you live.
This preserves the area not just for you but for everyone else. If you have the opportunity to
help, take it because not everyone will have the chance. You should also find ways to improve
the environment where you live. Maybe you can start with combining good citizenship and
environmental cleanup by volunteering with your city to plant trees, maintain sidewalks
example: recently in Palembang the government just opening the pedestrian street, and also
keep green spaces green. Never litter when you're out and about always try to find a proper
trash can or recycling bin for your trash! Clean up trash that you do find, even if someone else
dropped it.

Third, volunteer. Volunteering with local charity is a great way to improve the world around
you. Youll be able to do the most direct good and see the impact on the people that you help.
As a medical student we have practical skill right? or we can learn one from that charity. Weve
arrange a charity in our campuss it called Healthy Sunday. In healthy Sunday, we served people
by giving a medical check up such as check the blood pressure, glucose, uric acid, cholestrol.
Or sometimes we share a medicine.

Fourth hygiene habits for good health, cleanliness is necessary for good health. It is the most
important hygiene habit. Dirt spreads diseases, because germs thrive in it. They move about
with the dust in the air, so a dirty person is easily attacked with diseases. People, who has a
clean body and puts on clean clothes, is free from dirt and dust, and no disease can attack us
easily. Daily bathing is a good habit. It keeps our body clean. We should keep our clothes,
beddings, food, utensils, and all other things neat and clean. No dirt should be allowed to
gather near our houses. We should also keep our teeth and nails clean. We should remember
that cleanliness is next to godliness. If in social maybe we can start show them how to wash
their hands correctly because many people doesnt know the technic how to wash their hands,
their just like put their hands into a water give some soap and rub their hand for just like 2
seconds and wash it. It just a small example.

Fifth, exercise. Our bodies were meant to move, they actually crave exercise. Regular exercise
is necessary for physical fitness and good health. It reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer,
high blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases. It can improve your appearance and delay the
aging process. If you don't exercise, your muscles will become flabby and weak. Your heart
and lungs won't function efficiently. And your joints will be stiff and easily injured. Inactivity
is as much of a health risk as smoking! So maybe we can start like jogging everyday or we can
throw calisthenic every weekend plus medical check up and even go to the gymnastic. The
benefits of any exercise program will diminish if it's disrupted too frequently. A "stop-start"
routine is not only ineffective, but can cause injuries. Being consistent with exercise, therefore,
is probably the most important factor in achieving desired results.People often assume that
more is better. Wrong! Doing too much too soon or performing intense exercises on a daily
basis will have deleterious effects, such as muscle/tendon strains, loss of lean tissue.

At last but not least I concluded from point 1 to 5 are to set a good example for that. Set a good
example for your friends and family members, and educate them on the issues so that they can
make good decisions too. Help them to understand why these things are important, so that
they're also motivated to change their lives. By changing a few minds you can double, triple, or
even more greatly increase your positive impact to achieve a good health and well-being.

Now I recognize that is a pretty big challenge. How many different speech or information from
nowhere have you seen encouraging you to just be the change you want to see in the world.

Now ladies and gentlemen I challenge you to change the world.
