1.A man moved 6 m in south and then turned towards east to move 8 m. Calculate the distance
travelled by the man and the displacement .

22 . A boy leaves his house at 9.30 A.M. for his school. The school is 2 km. away and classes
start at 10.00 A.M. If he walks at a speed of 3 km/h for the first km , at what speed should

walk the second km to reach just in time ?
23. Starting from rest, a cyclist moving at a uniform acceleration attains a velocity of 60m/s in
300 seconds. If he applies brake and slows down to rest at the rate of 2m/s2. Find
the acceleration in first 200 seconds

State Newtons law of gravitation.
Derive the units of universal constant of gravitation G using formula of Newton's law of
gravitation.
According to Newton's law every object exerts force of attraction on other object. Why
do not the bodies start moving towards each other?
Calculate the force of gravitation between the two bodies of mass 70 kg and 100kg kept
at a distance of 1km.
