A search on Google for "The Law of Attraction" will

get you about 90,100,000 results! People have written
about this subject from a lot of different perspectives.
Many of the people that have written about it are what
many of you might classify as "Spiritualist," but in
actuality, the Bible, and specifically Jesus, has much to
say about the Law of Attraction. Of course, you won't
find it called that in the Bible, but the idea is clearly
presented. So in this book, I want to help you to
understand and be able to apply to your life the Law of
Attraction from a God perspective.

Simply stated, the Law of Attraction is this: What

you focus your thoughts and attention on will be
manifested in your life. There are also two axioms to
this law, which are Like attracts like and Thoughts
become things. We will examine these statements and
how to apply them in some detail, but first there are
some concepts and terminology that we need to
understand, because I will refer to them throughout

this book. Some of the terminology that I use is shared

by New Thought, spiritualists and other people who
are not necessarily Christian. So to those of my readers
who are Christian, I encourage you to have an open
mind. Words are just words, they don't belong to any
specific religion or system, if they are useful to explain
an idea, I will use them. Words are, however, powerful,
and there is power in the belief or emotions behind our
words. God spoke the Universe into existence with just
two words! (In the Hebrew, yehi 'or, "Let there be
light.")

 Definitions

Spirit: God is spirit, as we know and understand from

the Bible. We are the only other things in creation
that we know of that have a spirit: eternal, unborn
and undying. A human being is a spirit having a
human experience. Our spirits were marked off in
God before time began. See my book, Abandoned to
Divine Destiny for more about this concept. Now
all spirit is connected, is one, and our true self, our
spirit is eternal, unlimited, existing now in eternity.

Human Being: A human being has three parts, the

eternal spirit, the soul, and the body. The soul and
the body were designed to serve the spirit as its
medium for experiencing life on Earth. The soul is
our mind, will and emotions, and is the conduit,
the connection between the spiritual and the
physical. The body is the vessel or physical
instrument by which we experience the world
around us.

Now Moment: Our spirit lives in eternity, but our

human experience is lived out in time. The Now
Moment is where time and eternity intersect in our
awareness. Those who understand who they are in
Christ remember their past and plan for the future,
but they dwell in the Now. They do not fragment
themselves and live in the past or the future, which
is where those who are ruled by the body and the
soul dwell.

Empowerment: Thoughts are energy, and what we

focus our thoughts and attention on become
empowered.

Frequency: All energy travels in frequency waves, from

the lowest (longest) wavelength of radio waves to
the highest (shortest) wavelengths of gamma rays.
Albert Einstein showed us that matter is simply
condensed energy with his famous formula,
E=MC2, and science has determined that every
particle of matter vibrates at certain frequencies.
Our thoughts and emotions are forms of energy, so
naturally they have different frequencies. Bad or
sad thoughts or emotions have lower frequencies

and happy or joyful thoughts and emotions have

higher frequencies.

The Mind of Christ (or God): also referred to as

Christ Consciousness. When our spirit is awakened
and we align ourselves with the will of God, and
allow God's Spirit to dwell in us, then we begin to
live in Christ Consciousness. Our spirit and God's
Spirit act in unison, and our consciousness is
expanded beyond our natural, human capacity.
Paul tells us in I Corinthians 2:16, "For who hath
known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct
him? But we have the mind of Christ."
