Volunteer Respite
Provide companionship respite for three to four hours per week for a caregiving couple where one
spouse has early onset Alzheimers disease.

Between Friends
Practicum Aktion Club and Junior Volunteer Program 2016 2017
For the Junior Volunteer Program, responsible to modify the existing volunteer program to support
younger volunteers. This involved establishing a skill development guide, designing volunteer
evaluations and recruiting of volunteers.
For Aktion Club, serve as a Facilitator for adults with disabilities in recreational activities and activities
designed to provide opportunities to give back to their community.
Practicum W.E.S.O.A.R Program 2013
Assist young adult participants with disabilities in recreational outings.

Bow View Manor 2015


Practicum Adult Day Program
Assist seniors with dementia and Alzheimers in a recreational day program to ensure they could
participate in activities. Duties included interacting with the participants, serving meals and snacks

Responsible for cutting and trimming grass and cleaning up garbage at schools, light maintenance,
cleaning of machinery, trucks and trailers and occasional landscape work.
Completion of a special project to ensure telephones in schools meet occupational health and
safety requirements.

o Successfully completed special occupational health and safety project independently within
the time allotted.

Calgary Catholic School District Summer 2013


Student Worker
Responsible for organizing and inventorying all keys for new and old key systems for all the
buildings in the Calgary Catholic School District.
Organized and labelled all school blueprints and reorganized files and mechanical checklists.
Accomplishments
o Successfully completed the re-keying project.
o Worked effectively as part of the Maintenance Shop team to reorganize some of the
administrative areas which allowed other staff to continue to focus on their areas of
responsibility.
