Before the class, cut out pieces of punctuation marks (periods,
exclamation point, question mark) and stick all over random places in
the classroom.

Begin the class in prayer. Ask a student to open up in prayer.

Play a quick I Spy game


1. Tell the students that they will play a game named I Spy
2. Write the three punctuation marks on the board
3. Give the instructions to the students
a. Tell the students to look at the punctuation marks on the board
b. Tell them that they will look around the classroom if they see any
of the marks that are similar to the ones written on the board
c. If they see one, tell them to stand up and point on the
punctuation mark that they see in the classroom
4. After the short game. Tell the students that they will learn more
about punctuation
marks.
Developing the Lesson
Draw the three punctuation marks on the board.
